A wish list for the new leader of the Portland Art Museum:
“In late October, the Oregon art community will welcome the Portland Art Museum's new executive director, Brian Ferriso, to town. Ferriso was recently chosen to succeed John Buchanan, who left Portland for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco early this year.
Ferriso, 40, is still concluding his tenure as director of the Philbrook Museum of Art in Tulsa, Okla., and hunting for a Portland home in his spare time. He's also conducting a lot of research about the Portland museum he will soon direct.”
The Philbrook is a great museum and I am sure Mr. Ferriso will do a fine job in PDX, PORTLAND, OREGON
