First, I've been flexcar-ing a lot…it's nice…really, have you driven a Toyota Prius or a Civic Hybrid or an Element? It's worth 8/10 bucks to just experience this for an hour (especially the prius = Star Trek).
I've been moving, so I needed to use Flexcar to move. Plus, I've had family in town (Pittock Mansion, Washington Park, Multnomah Falls, etc) and why deal with H(u)rtz and all those when you can drive a cool car, not worry about gas or insurance (and car rental taxes + insurance=boooo!), etc.
So, it's been good, and I will probably flex less shortly as these things will be over, to the few times a month I need it or there if there is a new cool car that I want to try out without some salesman sitting next to me.
I have been talking with the Flexcar peeps (good peeps) a lot lately trying to understand it fully as the website can be confusing at times. I will continue to post here about that as it is really a fantastic program.
