Starts at 3:00pThis 4th annual block party draws more than 3,000 beer enthusiasts and is the largest Oktoberfest celebration in Portland. Enjoy a selection of Widmer brews including Okto (Oktoberfest Ale), Hefeweizen, Drop Top Amber Ale, and Broken Halo IPA. Food includes German-style brats, kraut, and pretzels. Treat your ears to the sound of live music including Those Darn Accordians, Debra Arlyn, Tea for Julie, Keegan Smith and The Fam, and Colin Lake and Wellbottom.
Don't miss this year's follow up to the World's Largest "Lemon Drop" from last year. In 2007, Oktoberfest attendees tested their eye-hand coordination trying to catch lemons in their Widmers while daring brewery employees dropped lemons from the 40-foot brewery roof. This year's "Drop" is sure to be just as entertaining.
