I have no idea what has been going on over at the venue currently known as Mt. Tabor Legacy. It has changed management about six times in the last four years, and seemingly three times in the last two months. Anyway, whoever is running it now has kept this in the mix.

Cinema 21 hosts the 12th annual Portland Lesbian and Gay Film Festival (in partnership with Film Action Oregon) starting this weekend and running through September 27. On Friday, there will be an Opening Night Gala at the Chesterfield. Here is a description of the festival and details of Friday's Gala:
The Portland Lesbian & Gay Film Festival is a non-profit arts group that annually showcases feature, documentary and short films from all over the world that are made by, about or of interest to the lesbian, gay, bi and trans community.
