I have no idea what has been going on over at the venue currently known as Mt. Tabor Legacy. It has changed management about six times in the last four years, and seemingly three times in the last two months. Anyway, whoever is running it now has kept this in the mix.
If you’ve seen Tommy perform, you know it is a great show. Here is your chance to see him before his inevitable 30-date tour in ‘09. Show Info:

4811 SE Hawthorne Blvd. The Wanteds celebrate the release of “Failure Looks So Good” as a full-on band. Lead man Tommy Harrington turned his one-man show into a full-blown rock-laden animal. Lots of rock and roll and catchy hooks make this one of the best albums to come out of Oregon in years.
“The Wanteds are perhaps the most controversial band in Portland right now…people find frontman Tommy’s high-strung antics either hysterical or totally grating. At the least, he’s a man who speaks his mind.” -Portland Tribune
Also featured at the this show:The Slants High energy, explosive electronic rock. The Slants are Portland’s premier Asian rockers. Founded by Simon Young, formerly of the Stivs, the Slants are in in-your-face, fire-breathing answer to dancey electro-rock such as the Faint and Depeche Mode.
“I can’t believe it has taken me this long to discover this band. As an 80s techno-child this is the retro music of a new era. Solid Depeche and Camoflage influences. I’m psyched..” -Craig Lloyd, from CD Baby
Disgustitron Armed with an old PC, cassette deck, a few effects pedals and a mess of cables, the underground of Portland’s Disgustitron continues to mutate as it digests more and more musicians, equipment and binary garbage as it seeks to enslave humanity through rock and roll mind control vibrations. Those fond of My Life with the Thrill Kill Cult, Stabbing Westward, and Ministry will genuinely appreciate this truly DIY act.
http://www.myspace.com/disgustitronJonah It might seem like an overstatement to say that Portland’s current music landscape was influenced by a band, but here in Jonah, we have a dynamism unlike most others. Atmospheric and rich with indie pop stylings, reminiscent of Radiohead and the High Violets without trying, Jonah is a beautiful band with lots of recognition. Featured in the Oregonian, 94.7FM KNRK, and in just about every media outlet, Jonah is a must-see band in Portland.
