Continuing to add shows to the Portland New Years list. Just saw this over on the Ash Street Myspace page. If you know of any we have missed, send us an email message or comment.

From Heather at Ash St Saloon:
Portland New Years Eve at Ash St SaloonIn February of 2006, Throwback Suburbia declared its state of band-hood in Portland, Oregon. Since that time, they have released two EP's and three videos, are playing to packed crowds wherever they land, and have launched a national radio campaign becoming the most played new artist on several FM stations across the country.

They won the Garage Band/Budweiser “True Music” contest and distribution to thousands of Live 365 radio stations including intenselymodern.com where they are the only unsigned band in regular rotation. They've had an unprecedented FOUR songs simultaneously in the top 10 at garageband.com, including a spot at number one!

I can go on, but all this means you should come see them before you have to pay $35 to see them!

Orange Collection is what you get when you combine the most wildest drummer on the planet, the smoothest bassist in the world, a monster of a guitarist , and a front man with soul in his heart, fingers and voice. Orange Collection is a hook-heavy straight up rock band with soul and spirit. Remember the name, you'll be screaming it later.  Asphalt Thieves blend indie style vocals and melodic electronica to wonderful effect. The Portland band has a grasp of the dynamics of indie-tronic that belies their unsigned status.
