Bridgetown Comedy: Tig Notaro & Natasha Leggero | Berbati's Pan | December 20

Update: Due to Snowpocalypse 2008, show has been moved to Mt Tabor Legacy and FREE. It is 8:45 and you still have plenty of time before the show starts!

I received this email last week, I knew who Tig Notaro of “Sarah Silverman Program” fame was but did not know of Natasha Leggaro. Then, I went to her Myspace reel and realized oh yeah–she's that stripper who gives Wildcard Charlie free dances in Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

And, she's that drunken (prostitute?) woman without underwear in “Reno 911!”.  Oh, and apparently she was once molested by Andy Dick. Watch her Myspace reel here.

Also, the last Bridgetown Comedy event we attended at Berbati's was packed up, so you might want to buy those tickets now.

From Andy of Bridgetown Comedy Fest:
Andy Dick and Natasha LeggeroBridgetown Comedy is bringing Tig Notaro and Natasha Leggero to Berbati's Pan on Saturday, December 20th, 2008 for a one night only stand up comedy performance.

Tig Notaro is well known for her regular role as Officer Tig on "The Sarah Silverman Program", and she has starred in her own special "Comedy Central Presents: Tig" in addition to performing on "Last Comic Standing" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!". In 2006 Tig and fellow comedian Martha Kelly founded the innovative Crackpot Comedy Tour, a series of house concerts across the country in the living rooms, basements, rooftops, garages, backyards, lofts and barns of their fans. The Portland stop on the tour packed over 100 people into the basement of a Northeast home. Tig's performances at the 2008 Bridgetown Comedy Festival were similarly filled to capacity with fans of her hilariously dry, Bob Newhart-esque comedy.

Natasha Leggero has performed on "The Tonight Show" and "The Late Late Show", but may be best known for her recurring roles as various deviants on the hit comedy "Reno: 911!". Natasha starred in the MTV reality show "The 70s House" and has guest-starred in “It's always Sunny in Philadelphia”, “Samantha Who” , Aqua Teen Hunger Force” , “Worst Week” and most recently “The Sarah Silverman Program”. Natasha can also be seen in the movie “He's Just Not that into You” due out in February.

Natasha's usual performance persona (she dons a cocktail dress and elbow-length white gloves for many of her performances) is in hilariously stark contrast with most Portland audiences. At the 2008 Bridgetown Comedy Festival, many people remember her performance on the back patio of Bar of the Gods under a leaking roof, and with a genuine Southeast Portland hippie chewing on ginger root in the front row, as one of the funniest moments of the weekend.

Berbati's Pan is located at 231 SW Ankeny St., on the corner of 3rd and Ankeny. Doors will open at 8:30pm with the show beginning at 9:30pm. Tickets will be available at the door for $12, and can also be purchased in advanced for $10 through ticketweb.com.
