The Rose City Rollers are lacing up and training hard for the highest-stakes bout of Season 4 — the championships on June 27! After a nail-biting semi-finals match, the victorious Breakneck Betties glided into position to take on the High Rollers in a fierce battle for the first place title. The Guns N Rollers will compete against the Heartless Heathers for third place.
The June 27 Championship Bout at the Portland Expo Center will be the first time in the league's history that the High Rollers will have the chance to compete for first place, and the first time the Heartless Heathers will not.
With only three home season wins in their history, the High Rollers are approaching the championship with something to prove. “The fact that we're in an unprecedented position right now, pursuing first, is amazing; it's time we get some respect,” said Layla Smackdown, High Rollers' co-captain.
The anomalous match-up means the champion title is up for grabs in what promises to be a struggle of will and skill for the ladies of the Rose City Rollers.
CHAMPIONSHIP BOUT DETAILS:
2009 Season 4 Championships, June 27. Doors open at 5 p.m., action starts at 6 p.m. The Portland Expo Center is at 2060 N. Marine Drive.

I’ve never seen any of these teams (other than the appearance at the Starlight Parade a few weeks ago), they all sound great. I’ve been looking forward to this weekend’s event.
