Gorge Wine Celebration for Hospice

5:00 – 9:00 PM, The Gorge Room at the Best Western Hood River Inn
1108 East Marina Way, Hood River, OR
Join us in Hood River for an evening of wine, food and fun to benefit Hospice of The Gorge. Over 80 wines will be available to taste from over 20 Gorge wineries, including 2009 Washington Winery of the year Maryhill and 2007 Oregon Winery of the year Cathedral Ridge.
Other wineries include Cascade Cliffs, COR, Domaine Pouillon, Illusion, Jacob Williams, Memaloose/McCormick Family Vineyards, Syncline and White Salmon Vineyards from Washington. Oregon wineries include: Dominio IV, Dry Hollow, Mt. Hood, Naked, Pheasant Valley, The Pines, Phelps Creek, Quenett, Springhouse Cellar, Viento and Wy’East.
Nibble on anti-pasti plates created with local produce, and designed by chef Mark DeResta to pair with the delicious Gorge wines. Buffet dinner includes Penne all Bolognese, Penne alla Amatraciana (red sauce with pancetta and chilies), Gemelli Pasta with gorgonzola, spinach and lemon, Baked Gemelli with Ricotta and fresh basil, Insalata Caprese and Roasted local veggies with balsamic vinegar. And lots of Crusty Bread! Brownie bites from Blissful Brownies will be passed for dessert.
The $50 ticket includes everything: all tastings, dinner, a souvenir glass and live music from Ben Bonham. Silent and Live auctions will feature exclusive packages from Gorge area wineries and local businesses.
Our winemakers will be stepping out from behind the tables to serve tastes during the live auction.
