Try Vegan PDX: Portland Vegan Week & Prom: August 15-22

Get Your Vegan On!

Portland has been voted the best city to be a vegan (a person who does not consume any animal products) in more than once. With several all-vegan businesses and many restaurants around town offering dishes to entice vegan customers it is no wonder why. In a day you can take your pick of vegan bakeries, coffee shops, and even schedule time for a hair cut (Akemi Salon) and get some fresh ink (Scapegoat Tattoo).

If you've ever been curious about adopting a vegan lifestyle or merely want to cook more healthful, vegan meals, then check out Try Vegan Week 2009.
