Let's be honest, people making asses out of themselves is funny. And people tripping really hard on psychedelic substances is (often) even more hilarious. Brody Condon's Without Sun, is an edited collection of "found performances" of individuals on drugs collected from the Internet to create a seamless 15 minute pseudo-narrative video emphasizing their "projection of self” into visionary worlds. Without Sun, named after Chris Maker's video, San Soleil, picks up where Marker left off, by exploring how these psychedelic adventures question memory and perception while examining the effects of current participatory media and technology on culture.
