There are going to be tons of great Portland parties this Halloween and you still  have plenty of time to plan. If you like to dance, this might be party for you. I went be there last year and it was full of costumes and fun times. as you can see from this picture (view the full flickr set here). SNAP!  90'S DANCE PARTY!!!

THE HALLOWEEN EDITION – Dress as your fave 90's teen idol

-SNAP! Is a monthly party that happens every last Friday of the month at Holocene in Portland, Oregon. With resident Djs Freaky Outy, Dr. Adam, Colin Jones, and hosted by Ms Coco.

The vision behind the party is to offer a slice of nostalgia that will bring booty-shaking, head-nodding and memories of all those awesome middle school dances.

The Trashy Trash Djs have recently started collaborating with the SNAP! crew in Seattle and Portland… Anyone who was at the most recent SNAP! in Seattle (8/21 at Lo Fi – and there were a lot of you) can attest to what a fun party this has become. Our best possible achievement this collaboration could ever reach would simply be getting this event to be as fun and wild as the Holocene monthly event held in Portland, OR.

We hope that everyone will not only bring the love of 90's music back but the style too! We want to see Esprit, Bum Equipment, Mossimo, Cross Colors, Z Cavaricci and don't forget to wear your demin overall shorts with the one strap.

Pay homage to Color Me Badd, White Town and a young Snoop D O double G. If you can still do The Running Man, The Whop, Kid 'n' Play or that jiggle thing across the stage that MC Hammer used to do, then you'll fit right in.

So for Halloween we challenge you to dress as your favorite 90's teen idol! Whether your steeze is early 90's (new kids on the block, claire dances, clarissa explains it all, jtt) or late (britney spears, n*sync, spice girls), go all out and you will be rewarded in the costume contest.
