From Press Release:
2009 FrightTown Returns to the Underground of the Rose Quarter for New Haunts and Horrors Oct 3 – Nov 1
The three most horrifying haunted houses in the whole Pacific Northwest return to the Memorial Coliseum on Saturday, October 3rd, as Cricket presents FRIGHTTOWN! A festival of fear awaits you at every turn! Last year, nearly every critic and news service in town agreed that FrightTown was the scariest haunted house in Portland bar none, and this year we’ve really piled on the horror! Packed into 40,000 square feet, FrightTown is the largest, scariest and wildest Halloween attraction in Oregon and Washington, as well as the #1 choice for haunted entertainment among teens and young adults! This October, FrightTown is open for 20 days of Halloween horror that will have everyone sleeping with the lights on until Christmas!
Our new Portland Events App for PDX Pipeline is now available for iPhones, Android phones and iPads!
Now, you can have all of the great Portland events from our website in the palm of your hand when you're out on the town.

------------------------------
Last year, over 19,000 visitors came face to face with the kegger of evil that was The Spring Break of the Living Dead, the fiendish fauna of The Petting Zoo Of The Unsettling and the rest of the bizarre bazaar that make up Baron Von Goolo’s Museum of Horrors. 2009 will be even more twisted as Baron puts a nickel in the jukebox for Baron Von Goolo’s Museum of Horrors & The Musical, a unique lyrical journey into madness which will have you tapping your toes when you are not too busy screaming. The Museum of Horrors the longest running haunted attraction in Oregon and Washington.
Hillbilly cyborg zombies: it sounds ridiculous…until one of these monster machines tries to drag you into the oily darkness of the abandoned auto shop. Last year’s smash hit, The Chop Shop, returns with new scares & twists - and more gore than before. This is the runaway favorite haunt for fans of genre classics like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th. It’s a 12-cylinder roadtrip into terror that delivers on the intensity our guests have come to expect from the scariest Halloween event in the Northwest!
The Asylum returns to its gothic roots and transforms into the all-new, all-terrifying Elshoff Manor. Even the cold embrace of the grave cannot hold on to the unspeakable evil of Lord Elshoff for long - and now he has returned, with a veritable army of apparitions, vampires, demons and werewolves to stalk the rotting halls of Elshoff Manor once more. A grisly modern twist on the tradition of gothic haunted mansions, Elshoff Manor will pull the screams out of young and old alike!
Tickets: Tickets are priced at $20.00 for admission to all three haunted attractions. Tickets can be purchased at the door. To receive prior event sale notices, pre-sale opportunities, and prizes join our free Rose Quarter CyberClub at RoseQuarter.com. Coupons for $5 off regular admission are available at local retailers including Bi-Mart, Dairy Queen, Papa Murphy’s and Cricket, as well as online at frighttown.com
NOTE: Parents are warned by the scary nature of the haunted house and should use caution when bringing young children to FrightTown. Why pay for gas? Take Tri-Met.
