There are a lot of great Halloween parties in Portland, but this is the only one I know of that is giving away tickets to the Trail Blazers. Wait. Not just tickets. SEASON tickets. Oh, and there will be costume contests, great DJs, one of the LifeSavas, tattoo certificates and tons of beautiful young partiers. Pretty awesome. Big list of Portland Halloween parties here.

With Halloween being one of the biggest party nights of the year — Massive is upping the ante. Thanks to the Portland Trailblazers and their support of one of PDX's best events, we are giving away SEASON TIX to the Portland Trailblazers 2009-2010 season, along with custom bike build coupons, clothes, concert tickets and free tattoo certificates.

What has become a staple in the PDX party scene will be taken to a new level with performances by:

DJ Zimmie, who hits Portland right before he begins his '09 Is Mine Tour — AusTRILLia Edition' and comes ready to destroy the dance floor after the most recent success of his Sneaker Freaker mixtape (copies will be available at the event!). Zimmie is no stranger to large scale events (or to PDX — a place he called home for a brief moment), having shared the stage with such legends as DJ Jazzy Jeff, DJ AM, DJ Premier, Z-Trip, ?uestlove, Rich Medina & De La Soul. With his vast musical knowledge, eclectic song selection and innovative mixes, those who have seen him before know what they are in for, those that have never had the pleasure, have no idea what they are about to witness.

Vursatyl is a staple in the music scene of PDX as one of the lyricists of the legendary group Lifesavas. There's not much to say about a man everyone in this city knows — albums on Quannum Records, tracks with Blackalicious, countless parties and shows and one of the most entertaining MC's in the world of hip hop.

Massive resident DJ Doctor Adam, whose mixtape for street wear site Karmaloop hit over 20,000 downloads (grab it here if you don't have it – http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ixmkyxx5i5f) will be holding it down as he always does for PDX's fashion show/dance party Halloween Edition.

Massive 12 will also feature a costume contest, hosted by local larger than life personality and massive MVP Mr. Ronin Roc, with giveaways galore — did we mention season tix to the Blazers? I think we did.
