CHARIOTS OF RUBBER: THE FINAL MASSACRE
Local hair metal musical "Chariots of Rubber" will perform a third run of shows in late October 2009, this time with a Halloween theme.

Chariots of Rubber, a local hair metal musical, will follow two wildly successful runs with a third spanning Thursday-Saturday October 22nd-24th and Thursday-Friday October 29th and 30th at Theater! Theatre! (3430 SE Belmont). Shows will begin at 10:30pm, tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, available by email to jeffrey.wonderful@gmail.com.

In 1987 best friends Crash and Tommy follow their dream of winning "The Final Massacre XV" in Tommy's obsession — a '72 Buick Riviera that belonged to the 1972 "Final Massacre" first demolition derby champion, oracle & tranny hooker — Cindy, Team Pleaser. Bad gets worse when skin itch Bow Tuck gets sticky with Tommy for what he is owed on the Buick.

Meanwhile, the Areola sisters are seeking to obtain the hood ornament attached to the Buick, which is believed to possess magical powers. The Areola Sisters contract Jen, a sexy half-zombie/full time zombie hunter to seduce Tommy and steal the magical hood ornament. Meanwhile, a fatal strain of coos bay wood nymph crabs rage for two counties infecting the populace with stage four nymph crabs. Their only hope….to be reanimated as a zombie at the final massacre XV.

Set to an ALL ORIGINAL score, Chariots of Rubber is performed by Portland natives Andrew Stromstad as the hooker Cindy, Lucinda Beth Thompson and Misti Icenbice as the Areola Sisters, Donny Don't's acting debut as Crash, Seantos as Bow Tuck, Jerud Moyer as Tommy, and Rob Taylor as The Cop. The Chariots of Rubber band includes Jedediah Aaker on Bass, Drifter Joe on Drums, and “Private” Mike Albano on Guitar. Chariots of Rubber is written, directed, and produced by Jeffrey Wonderful. The music/lyrics are written by "Private" Mike Albano and Jeffrey Wonderful, with choreography by Lisa Ventrella.
