Places To Watch The Rose Bowl in Portland & Online | Oregon Ducks vs Ohio State

The Oregon Ducks haven't been to the Rose Bowl in 15 years, so this a pretty big deal. They won't let Blount talk to the press, but if he could, I'm sure this is what he'd say:

I knocked that fool out and we're going to knock out Ohio State too.

The game starts at 2PM Pacific/5PM Eastern (which is absurdly early for New Years hangovers). So where should you watch this game in Portland?

Pipeline SE Pick: Tanker Bar, 4825 SE Hawthorne

If you are in the Barmuda Triangle, there really isn't a better place to watch the game than Tanker. They have great taps, several nice televisions giving a view pretty much everywhere in the bar. They open at noon and will have breakfast until 4 and happy hour until 8PM.

Pipeline SE Family Pick: Blitz Ladd, 2239 SE 11th Ave.

Kids are allowed in Blitz until 9PM and they have 15 52in HD TVs and a 12ft HD Projector. Bltz Ladd and Pearl have been having Civil War parties all year with prizes, so I am sure this game will have a good crowd.

Pipeline Pearl Pick: Blitz Pearl, corner of NW 10th and Couch

Blitz Pearl has 21 TVs and look above about the Civil War parties.

From Barfly Happy Hour info: $2.50+ Pints, $3.50 wells, $5 win 4-7pm, 10pm-midnight

Other places that will have the game`: North 45 (NW) , Paddy's (downtown), Thirsty Lion (downtown), Grand Central (SE), Ladd's Inn (SE, strong drinks), Belmont Inn (SE), Radio Room (NE), Sammy's Daniel (NW/SE), Amnesia brewery (North, great beer), Claudia's (SE, packed!)…and many others, comment good places below if you would like.

Watch Online: You can watch online at ESPN360 if you have the Comcast or for free here on JustinTv (sort of illegal to broadcast, but not to watch) while you talk smack with others in the chat panel.

Veetle.com will probably have a good stream online, sometimes up to 720p but you’ll need a decent Internet connection and you’ll have to download the Veetle plug-in the first time. It’s been virus free in my experience and now works on a Mac too. It’s a pretty chill site for Myp2p. Go Ducks!
