Gotta hand it to Reed. They do keep it interesting over there. I like the “optional field trip” after where you should bring dollar bills….hmmm.

Part of Reed's Paideia week of classes.
A former stripper, an economics student, and an IRS-certified tax preparer talk about stripping from the most-important and often-ignored angle: moolah.
Learn about the incredibly bizarre money structures in strip clubs, the 101 on how much money a g-string is worth versus a thong, why hairy armpits can mean more cash, why strippers do and don't unionize, and why strippers can get a tax deduction for boob jobs.
Covers legal and less legal adult markets, and legislation's effect on vice markets.
This will be held on Reeds Campus in ETC 205. (That's near the SE corner of campus, very close to SE Woodstock.)

3:00pm – 8:00pm
Note: All discussion is about economics NOT about ethics. Save your feminist theory discussions for some other time.
Optional field trip by bike or TriMet afterwards. Bring 1$ bills for the field trip.

What time? Have a link for more info?
Sorry,
thought I had linked the facebook event. It is at 3PM and the event is linked although there is no more info. There is a NSFW flyer though.
3pm? A time only students and the unemployed can make it….I’m in!
You’ll need to change the post title, it says the 27th.
