5th Annual ChocolateFest Is Sweeter Than Ever
Annual Fundraiser for World Forestry Center Makes Dentists Cringe As It Expands to Include an Extra Evening

For the 5th year in a row, the World Forestry Center will present ChocolateFest, the Pacific Northwest's biggest and best celebration of the food we all love so well. The event is Friday, January 29 from 6:00 -9:00pm and Saturday, January 30 and Sunday, January 31 from 10am -5pm.

Pre-sale tickets are available at www.worldforestry.org. Ticket prices are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors (62+) and $5 for children (3-18).

This celebration of sweet has become so popular the World Forestry Center is expanding the hours to include Friday night. This evening will be extra special as chocolate-lovers will get a sneak preview of the Center's newest exhibit The Chocolate Story which opens January 30 and is on view through April 25.  The exhibit explore the history, production and consumption of chocolate — a food which is derived from the cacao tree that grows in the tropics. On Friday night visitors will also be able to vote for their favorite chocolatier and products.

Categories to be voted on are:

Best Truffle Category
Best Confection Category
Most Innovative Ingredient Combination Category
Best Organic or Fair Trade Products Category
Best in Show Category

As is typical of ChocolateFest, over 45 of some of the finest chocolatiers in the Pacific Northwest, and beyond, will tempt visitors with luscious truffles, decadent brownies, heavenly fudge, and more. Demonstrations, presentations as well as a few wine, beer and coffee vendors will be on hand to explore all the pairing possibilities of chocolate. Vendors include: multi-award winning Lillebelle Farms based out of Central Point, Oregon — maker of the smoky blue cheese truffle; Two Brothers Foods showcasing their decadent chocolate sauce; award-winning Coastal Mist Fine Chocolates and Desserts based in Bandon, Oregon; Brownies from Heaven with offerings such as Raspberry brownies and Peppermint brownies; and the very popular Pearl District eatery, Cupcake Jones.  For a complete list of vendors, demonstrations and presentations, please visit www.worldforestry.org or call 503-228-1367.

This is one of the biggest fundraisers for the World Forestry Center which is a 501(c)(3) non profit educational organization dedicated to teaching about the world's forests and trees and environmental stewardship. The Center is located in Portland's beautiful Washington Park. There is a $2 Metro parking fee per car that is waived if visitors take public transportation. The museum is five minutes from downtown Portland, just off Hwy 26 and is also accessible by MAX light rail line. For more information, please call 503-228-1367 or visit www.worldforestry.org.

I love chocolate and I’ve been looking for a reason to try out the new Green Line MAX. It’ll make the commute to the Forestry Center that much easier.

  4. Andrew January 25, 2010 at 10:05 #

My girlfriend is flying up from San Jose this weekend and taking her to ChocolateFest will allow me to take her to the Auto Show hassle free!

  5. Nora January 25, 2010 at 10:36 #

What a wonderfully fun way to raise awareness and funds for the Forestry Center! Also a great end to a drizzly month. Something fun, frivolous and philanthropic all at once!

  6. Derek January 25, 2010 at 10:58 #

I’d like to go because chocolate is a great reason to visit the remarkably un-controversial World Forestry Center where timber companies and environmentalists seem to live in peace and harmony like some Disney creation.

  7. Annalee January 25, 2010 at 13:21 #

I LOVE Chocolate!!!! As a female any reason to get the girls together and indulge on amazing chocolate is a treat and there is no better place to do so!! 8. Erin January 25, 2010 at 14:21 #

I just got laid off and need some sweet, sweet chocolate in my life. I am broke and the only thing that will cheer me up is free anything…

    • Deanna January 25, 2010 at 23:03 #

      Awwwwwwwww …. I like this one. ツ

  9. Laura January 25, 2010 at 14:33 #

I have a good friend who had to move to Minnesota for her OB residency. She was unable to come home for Thanksgiving, Christmas or New years and will be flying home on the 31st! There are about 8 of us girls who are planning a ladies night and thought the Chocolate festival would be the perfect way to celebrate a late holiday get-together and donate to a great cause at the same time. Plus, I am a high school teacher and I always love combining fun and learning so I have great stories for my history students at Forest Grove High School. PICK US!!!

  10. Severyn January 25, 2010 at 17:09 #

    Chocolate for free?
    The Chocolate Story? Yum
    Could I have some more?

  11. kristenpdx January 25, 2010 at 17:34 #

My birthday is on Sunday the 31st and I’d love to celebrate with some chocolate. Plus, my boyfriend just broke up with me a week ago. Doesn’t that earn this girl some sympathy points?

  12. Mr. Big January 25, 2010 at 18:02 #

Blue Cheese Truffles and Pinot Noir. Perfection. I should win because I have such good taste. Just sayin’.

  13. Jenny January 25, 2010 at 18:41 #

Chocolate makes the world go round. And after a week of way too many tests and classes (despite the fact I am a broke college student) I believe attending Chocolate Fest would be the perfect way to end a hard week and get ready for the next. With money being tight, I would GREATLY appreciate tickets to Chocolate Fest to show someone cares about the sanity of college students.

  14. Joanne O'Connell January 25, 2010 at 18:41 #

I’d love to be educated and introduced to the variety of chocolates so I can put the admission price toward the best chocolate!

  15. JenSutra January 25, 2010 at 18:58 #

Oh small luxury. How simple, and yet how profound. Your ways of joining with spices and other flavors to illuminate them, and yet remaining so fully present within your own being attracts me to you. So much. So much. I want to know you deeply, intimately. And just when I feel that I do, you surprise me. Another side, another country, another pairing, another subtle essence revealed. Divulge your secrets to me. Let them linger on my tongue and infuse my memory with more of you. These dark and rich dreams fulfill me now. 72% with lavender from a market in south Spain. 80% with tropical tinges from the forests of Venezuela. A local 83% raw flavor with chai spices that stirs my soul. Bring me to your well at the World Forestry Center and let me submit myself to you. Bring me there for free, and submit yourself to me.

  16. Helen January 25, 2010 at 19:43 #

My husband and I both love chocolate and think going to the ChocolateFest would be a great date and a break from the kids :)

  17. Jamie Graham January 25, 2010 at 20:53 #

I would love the free tickets for my boyfriend and I because I am brand new to town and He’s never been. So i think helping break the chocolate festival virgins in is a great reason to let me have the tickets!

  18. Monica January 25, 2010 at 21:06 #

I would love to attend the Chocolate Fest. I’ve hardly been out since my son was born, and this seems like a great chance to get out and have some adult time. And seriously, who doesn’t need Chocolate therapy?!

  19. Brian B January 25, 2010 at 21:27 #

I do amateur blind chocolate tastings for friends and guests, and try to give them the full experience (unmarked samples, score sheets, suggestions for how to properly taste and describe chocolate, crackers for cleansing the palate, etc). I am always hoping to learn more myself to help me as I walk folks through this process. I *would* love to win tickets to this event as I suspect it would be highly educational, and I know the dozens of people that come to my tastings will all benefit and appreciate it!

  20. Michele January 25, 2010 at 21:35 #

I just tore up my house looking for a silly love letter to chocolate that I wrote for a contest at a restaurant once but was to chicken to submit. Its on a fragile little cocktail napkin somewhere and I stumble upon it every once in a while, never failing to make me laugh. I was going to quote it word for word to win the tickets but it almost makes me happier knowing I still have my little secret letter tucked away in some cook book somewhere. When I find it it will make me smile once again.
    “Dear chocolate,…” :)

  21. Deanna January 25, 2010 at 22:57 #

  22. Bianca January 26, 2010 at 01:17 #

When I was a little girl in Panama, a rich American came to our town and he was eating the most fine food. I said to him, “What do you call this most fine food?” And he said, “They call it chocolate.” I repeated the words, “chocolate, chocolate.” I asked if I could have it and he said, “No, get away from me.” Then he started to walk away. But I grabbed on to his leg screaming for him to give me the chocolate and he dragged me through the street. And then he kicked at me with the other foot and threw some change at me. Oh but I didn’t want the change, PdxPipeline. I wanted the chocolate.

Please, for my dignity, would you provide me with chocolate?

  23. Shelly January 26, 2010 at 09:14 #

5th Annual Chocolate Fest!! Oh my I never even knew this existed…this is a must go!!

  24. Matt January 26, 2010 at 10:52 #

A list of reasons I want to attend the Chocolate Fest (for the FREE!):

    1. Chocolate is good. Good for you: physiologically, mentally, even spiritually. All in moderation of course.
    2. I love learning. Chocolate has been called “best-known food that nobody knows anything about,” and for me that’s true. The chance to learn how to pair one of my favorite foods (chocolate) with wine, sake, and beer will be invaluable to my future dinner party guests.
    3. I love history. And chocolate has a long, interesting historical narrative that I’m eager to learn about. Not to mention the cultural, environmental, and geographic importance of the cacao bean.
    4. It’s divine. Literally. I’m not a religious person, but worshiping chocolate is something I could dig. The Mayans and Aztecs did it, so I can definitely get behind that.
    5. It’s sexy. It was believed to have aphrodisiac properties by 17th century Europeans. Might not be true, but it sure has helped me in the bedroom on more than one occasion.
    6. It’s perfect. “Chemically speaking, chocolate really is the world’s perfect food,” claims nutrition researcher Michael Levine. Being at a festival of perfection would send me into a sensory overload.
    7. I’m from Mississippi. We don’t have chocolate festivals down here. If it’s not fried, battered, or unhealthy, we don’t celebrate it. And I’m not denigrating our food culture in the
South, but this would be an awesome way to expand my horizons.
    8. BONUS: My birthday is January 28. Won’t you help me celebrate?

(I have sources for the quotes and info, if needed) Thanks!

  25. Joshua January 26, 2010 at 11:12 #

A Chocolate Festival would be totally AWESOME!!!
unfortunately I missed the festival last year

I Really need an exciting and fun date to help improve my marriage. I also really need help to be able to afford to go.

I love Chocolate , and my lovely wife really enjoys certain luxury brands of chocolate. (ie. the expensive kind)

  26. Janet S. January 26, 2010 at 13:55 #

A date with my husband, not this time. I would love the opportunity to take my daughter out who loves and acutally appreciates chocolate I think more than me. Who wouldn’t want to encourage good, positive behavior in thier children? Besides, as a upcoming teen, her stress levels tend to rise without enough of that wholesome (or not) indulgence of chocolate. Lastly, as a bonus with her being home schooled, this would be a wonderful educational experience. Wining these tickets would be the whole package.

  27. KodaPup January 26, 2010 at 14:05 #

I gave up CHOCOLATE—any and all chocolate—for 3 weeks. For a Daniel Fast at my church… I know! Why did I give up CHOCOLATE?!?!!? But the Fast is over and my palate is primed!

January 29th is also my birthday… what better way to celebrate than with a faithful friend, Chocolate? (Oh, and hubby, of course.)

    :)

  28. Kyle Ulinger January 26, 2010 at 14:09 #

So glad I moved to Portland. Only a city this great would make a weekend event for the magic that is chocolate.

  29. Sheila and Boyz January 26, 2010 at 16:45 #

Chocolate is OUR favorite item on the food chart, haha:)
My boys and I have been faced with some serious challenges in the last 5 months due to my being diagnosed with Chronic Late Stage Lyme Disease, overcoming financial difficulties and facing a nasty divorce court! With heads held high and the motivation to Beat All Obstacles… Having tickets to this event would sure bring Smiles to their faces! Thank You for your Time and Consideration!!! :)

  30. Angela January 26, 2010 at 17:43 #

We are hosting a foreign exchange student for a day on Saturday and what better way to introduce her to Portland’s finest chocolate and park!

  31. PatnTom January 26, 2010 at 20:11 #

    Chocolate, Oh Chocolate,
    How far have you roamed?
    From Omec to Maya,
    From Brazil to my home.
    I welcome your presence.
    Your Highness, alone,
knows all of the pleasures that wait at your throne.
    Your sweetness entices
a healthy excuse to endulge in prevention
    and various cures.
So come let me welcome in sweetest array
antioxidant pleasure and lowered blood pressure,
your sweetest of treasures that only my taste buds can adequately measure.

  32. Tyler January 26, 2010 at 21:06 #

Chocolate is sweet, and so is my wife Kelsey. With these tickets we’ll make a date of it! And how cool is this: we share our anniversery with Chocolate Fest, having been married almost exactly 5 years ago this January.

And Kelsey if you read this: whether or not we win the tickets, how sweet it is to be loved by you.

  33. Keegan January 26, 2010 at 23:13 #

I love chocolate so much that I once carried a whole suitcase of chocolate back from Germany to give to friends and family but mostly for my own enjoyment. I also need a good date idea for this girl and the Chocolate Fest would be perfect.

  34. TL January 27, 2010 at 07:57 #

My wife loves chocolate and big fan of Cupcake Jones. It would be great treat to surprise her. I had previously won tickets for other events before but could not go because of lack of baby-sitting. We can actually take our daughter to this event, so I hope we can win these tickets!

  35. CJ January 27, 2010 at 10:44 #

I have been married for 40 years my anniversary is in March, what a wonderful anniversary present! I’ve also made chocolate covered fruits and candies for my 9 grandchildren every Valentines day for the last 15 years, as I’ve done for my children for the lst 38 years. It would be a rare treat to eat and enjoy delicious chocolates that I didn’t have to make myself.

  36. jennie gentry January 27, 2010 at 12:10 #

I am going to eat everything there. :)
    Thanks- Jennie

  37. Jamie Bishop January 27, 2010 at 14:14 #

My cousin and I are the biggest chocolate lovers. We’re so excited to go to this event. Please pick us to win the tickets because, in the words of Linda Grayson, “There’s nothing better than a good friend, except a good friend with CHOCOLATE!” :)

  38. Jim January 27, 2010 at 14:28 #

I plan to send my daughter and her boy friend. She says chocolate is a reasonble substitute for sex.

  39. Jim January 27, 2010 at 14:35 #

While my daughter isn’t Godiva and my son isn’t Hershey, they would both LOVE go go with me to the Chocolate Fest 2010!! Maybe a Willie Wonka sighting???

  40. Michelle January 27, 2010 at 14:41 #

Chocolate is not a matter of life and death – it’s more important than that!

  41. Marcus-Hiep January 27, 2010 at 14:45 #

Would be fun to go. A great opportunity for my wife and I to learn more about the dark world of chocolate.

  42. beth January 27, 2010 at 15:19 #

One of my favorite chocolate quotes…
Make a list of important things to do today. At the top of your list, put ‘eat chocolate.’ Now, you’ll get at least one thing done today.

  43. Amy January 27, 2010 at 19:47 #

I love chocolate! It’s one of my favorite things to sit and enjoy! I am kinda what you would call a chocolate snob…lol. It happens to be my birthday on Sunday and I would love to go to the chocolate fest with my husband and in-laws who share a passion for chocolate as well! We enjoy trying to pair chocolates with wine and would love to learn about what chocolates go with certain wines. I am currently in an unpaid externship so money is a little tight and I think this would be an amazing birthday present to spend time with my family on my birthday, tasting decadent chocolates! Thank you!

  44. Blyss Veer January 27, 2010 at 20:12 #

I would LOVE to win free tickets to Portland Chocolate Fest!
My boyfriend and I are living on a shoestring budget, and we never get to go out. Plus I’m over 21 and he won’t be till April, so almost never get to go out to fun events like this.
please send us some chocolate coated love!
    <3 <3 <3

    Blyss & Adam

  45. Christina January 27, 2010 at 20:27 #

I invented a new chocolate flavoring over the holidays- the Schull Bomb… a truffle featuring 6 unique flavorings, and I want to see how it compares to other varieties of chocolate out there. I’m considering starting a chocolate business and am planning to attend with two of my good friends who are also chocolate entrepreneurs. We are all struggling with employment, and it would be ideal for us to start a chocolate company together. The chocolate festival would be the best place for us to examine what’s already out there and to bounce ideas off of other chocolate connoisseurs.

Please consider us- while the expense is not much, the free tickets would help immensely. Who knows- maybe we could be vendors at next year’s Chocolate Festival.

And we love chocolate- a lot.

  46. Joanne January 28, 2010 at 07:07 #

My seven year old granddaughter loves chocolate. She constantly claims that she is a chocoholic. Winning tickets to the festival would be so exciting. I’d like to win to make her happy.

  47. smitty January 28, 2010 at 07:38 #

I would really like it if you would give me those tickets as it is my sweetheart’s birthday and I am not sure we can afford to go. Thanks.

  48. Ryan Herron January 28, 2010 at 11:03 #

OOoh. My gf and I make truffles a couple times of year for friends and family. What a great place to pick up ideas! Pick us!

  49. Alicia January 28, 2010 at 11:04 #

Hi! I would like tickets to chocolate fest for my girlfriend. She is sad because of the gluten free!

  57. Cameron January 28, 2010 at 13:14 #

Simple. There is this girl that I am trying to win over. I haven’t won her yet, but I am feeling like I am on the cusp on making it happen. I know a surprise weekend of us riding our bikes to the WFC for a savory fest of cocoa will seal the envelope. Not a ploy, but a true request of help!

And of course, you guys are the best.

  58. Katrina Joy January 28, 2010 at 13:23 #

Choco-tastic! Tickets would be awesome…. xoxox

  59. Brett Tran January 28, 2010 at 13:32 #

Oh Chocolate Fest…taunt me with your infectious sweetness luring amongst the venue confining your decadence. I will devour chocolate morsels diligently and w/o hesitation to my recent resolution of controlled calorie intake. I will embrace this darkness of Portland set before us, as it is merely a shell often found on our most delicious frozen treats. Grant me safe passage through the gray weathers of the NW and I will bring a bright shining smile for all to share.

  60. Julie January 28, 2010 at 14:11 #

“Hello, my name is Julie and I’m a chocoholic.”

It’s true; I admit it fully. Truffles, brownies and fudge; milk, dark or white – I love it all. There’s just something about that rapturous feeling of chocolate melting in my mouth.

Let’s be honest, after a long, cold winter in our bustling city of Portland, who COULDN’T use the endorphins and aphrodisiac properties of chocolate?

But I promise after attending the Chocolate Fest this weekend, I’ll be back on the wagon again. Scouts honor! Just don’t quote me on that, okay? ;)

  61. Vanessa January 28, 2010 at 14:23 #

I like chocolate. Okay, okay, I love it.

  62. Amanda January 28, 2010 at 14:28 #

My boyfriend and I just got engaged!!! I’d love to try lots of chocolates and know which one to have at my wedding!

  63. Emily January 28, 2010 at 15:27 #

My guy just fell at work and completely tore his ACL, among other things. He is like a caged animal (with a cane) and I am feeling like a housewife out of another era taking care of him. He loves chocolate. I love chocolate. Magical knee curing properties… I think we deserve to try them all.

  64. Lisa January 28, 2010 at 15:36 #

I’m just looking forward to spending a day with my wonderful husband while the kids play with grandma and grandpa =).

  65. Cupcake666 January 28, 2010 at 15:42 #

It has been said that chocolate is better than sex. I’ve been single for 3 years. I NEED the chocolate!

  66. Amanda K January 28, 2010 at 16:09 #

Chocolate is a cure-all ailment wonder. Headaches, heartaches, heartbreaks, broken bones. My mom has cancer and she’s a chocoholic. I like to bring her little treats when I visit her, but this festival would be a wonderful outting to get her mind off being terminal. It sure beats a kit kat bar that I’m taking her today.

  67. James Crews January 28, 2010 at 16:11 #

Some chocolate haikus to prove my commitment:

    From a simple bean
    cocoa bliss coating taste buds
    the craving now grows

    Darkest of liquors
    free radicals fleeing
    heart-shaped and fleeting

    Drinkable potion
    as rain glazes winter gray
    what soothing alchemy

  68. claudia January 28, 2010 at 16:44 #

I would love to take my german, chocoholic friend, Tina, to cheer her up from her hard life as a newly enrolled student.

  69. Aaron January 28, 2010 at 16:50 #

I am lustfully attending chocolate school and due to the ridiculous amount of pounds of seized chocolate that I’ve gone through, my funds are so that a free ticket to this chocolate event would absolutely make my year! Thanks Yeeheee Chocolateeee!!!

  70. Lauren January 28, 2010 at 16:57 #

I would like to attend Portland’s Chocolate fest this weekend because I love chocolate, truffles, mousse cake, chocolate cookies, muffins, cupcakes, hot chocolate, chocolate milk and every dessert confectionery that has chocolate in it! :) I’ve never been to a chocolate fest and never even knew it existed. I’m really excited for this and I’m going to bring my boyfriend and my friend with me. Thanks!! My e-mail is pinkplumeria@gmail.com

  74. Connie January 28, 2010 at 18:24 #

I love dark chocolate, but my boyfriend Spencer loves milk chocolate. Won’t you help us find a chocolate in between to bridge the chasm between us? I would be forever grateful if you could show us the way to chocolate harmony.

It would make a very nice weekend out. I could also splurge and take some goodness home with me from the fest to savor for a while after it ends. :)

  77. Prado January 28, 2010 at 20:17 #

Please let me go for free. I have a delicate stomach and chocolate doesn’t give me gas! That’s rare. Who doesn’t like to do something out of the ordinary, right?

  78. Diane January 28, 2010 at 20:17 #

In the year 2012 the planets are going to align in such a way that the earth may rip to shreds. I’ve decided that the only sane course of action is to eat as much chocolate as possible!!!! Then I found out that the Chocolate Festival is starting this week-end…..Bingo! Now if I won free tickets it would all make cosmic sense.

  79. Don January 28, 2010 at 20:22 #

I have two women in my life and if I don’t come up with tickets to this event my life may be in danger!!!!!!! Please, please help me live to see another week. Let me win some tickets.

  80. Velia January 28, 2010 at 21:04 #

It would make an awesome BIRTHDAY Gift! (not for me, but for a friend..and I can go along!!)

    I will BUY chocolate :-)

    I will EAT the chocolate!!

    Please consider me! :-) thanks.

  81. David January 28, 2010 at 21:07 #

no over-the-top cleverness, or playing of sympathies, here….. we love chocolate….. just like everyone else in this list! enough said!

  82. Spenc January 28, 2010 at 21:27 #

Hmmm…let’s start by dipping it. Then heating and splitting it. Simmer it and sip it. Mash it, grind it, chop it. Fold it, squirt it and pop it. Lighten and fluff it, whip it and puff it. Bite, lick, kiss and chew it. Slowly swallow and relish it…

  83. Celina Hernandez January 28, 2010 at 22:05 #

I would love to win because I’ve never been before, it sounds like a lot of fun and who doesn’t like being surrounded by chocolate for a whole weekend.

  84. meaghan January 28, 2010 at 22:50 #

Last year I couldn’t attend due to reconstructive knee surgery. I had a pain pump inserted by catheter, which, while allowing me to look like a white female Flavor Flav, nevertheless left me bedridden for the duration of the festival. I also lost my job because of my injury. I bet all that anandamide and tryptophan I could be consuming this year would help me develop a more positive outlook on the past 365 days. And frankly, I could stand to put the money towards this month’s hospital bills instead.

  85. Michele W January 29, 2010 at 07:53 #

I have never been to the forestry center.
I have never been to a chocolate festival.
I would like to experience both!
Chance to win tickets……please sign me up!

I am training to run my fourth half marathon this spring. I run so that I eat chocolate and drink Portland’s microbrews without guilt. Please help make my training worth it!!

  90. Cam January 29, 2010 at 11:06 #

  91. Madeleine January 29, 2010 at 11:13 #

  92. La Tonya Kelly January 29, 2010 at 11:20 #

  95. Tippi January 29, 2010 at 14:45 #

I’m from Hershey, born and raised to be a chocolate aficionado! My 93 yr old grandmother lives off of nothing but cookies for breakfast, chocolate for lunch and ice cream for dinner! She’s less then 100lbs please help us keep her fat! PS- She misses her good friend Mrs. Reeces and free tix could fill that gaping hole.

  96. Megan January 29, 2010 at 15:39 #

I am a single girl, new to Portland as of about 3 weeks ago and am looking to go and meet new people and hopefully taste some great chocolate! I have a passion for cooking, and my favorite movie is Chocolate, enough said! Hopefully my friend and I will win these tickets and expand not only our pallets but also our circle of friends!

  97. Darcy B January 29, 2010 at 18:17 #

Chocolate is my reason for living.

  98. Amy January 29, 2010 at 18:20 #

I’m on my period. Need I say more?

  99. Christopher Bayerle January 30, 2010 at 13:26 #

you know, usually the Portland gloom doesn’t bother me mid-winter, but this year the watery miasma over the city seems particularly thick and soffocating. especially as my birthday sneaks up on me in a week. what better way to cheer yourself than chocolate? all those antioxidants – a salute to life!

  100. Robert Wessel January 30, 2010 at 14:07 #

Chocolate-it’s not just for chicks anymore doncha see. But I will bring one with as my wingma–, er, date.

  101. Pascale Steig January 30, 2010 at 15:11 #

  102. Celina Hernandez January 30, 2010 at 15:53 #

Can I ask did anyone win? and to the winner…..can I ask for a take home bag of samples :)

  103. Kathy Rankin January 30, 2010 at 17:49 #

Id like to go on Sunday because it might be the only thing that I will lick all day!

  104. Kathy Rankin January 30, 2010 at 17:49 #

Did I mention that chocolate is good to put on someone elses body and just lick it off! And if I get to go, thats what I will do!

  105. Angie January 31, 2010 at 17:02 #

The chocolate fest was not worth the $8.00 admission fee. I would of been better off spending $8.00 on chocolate at Fred Meyer and sitting at home watching TV. We left after a half hour. Wasnt even able to get one sample it was so crowded.

  106. Kiki January 19, 2012 at 09:04 #

Are you kidding me??? Of course I’m going!!! But, I would be crazy to not hope for free tickets!!! I am bringing a bunch of people anyway! I saw this festival online and bought tickets right away…can’t miss it!!! It’s a birthday celebration, and these tickets would really make the burden on me lighter, while affording me the luxury of buying that much more chocolate while we are there!!! ;) I can’t wait! =)

  107. Martina January 19, 2012 at 19:07 #

I love chocolate like nothing else, but my “guys” they adore chocolate. If I win the ticket, I will send them to the festival, and I will enjoy time for myself!!!!!:D…and of course, I will waiting for that bag of chocolate what they will buy my there :D

  108. sheri Thomas January 20, 2012 at 07:15 #
