Portland’s monthly First Thursday event is tonight with over 50 (probably 100) galleries having openings.

This month at Sequential Art Gallery

Sequential Art Gallery is pleased to present the work of M. Lamkins. “The New Varsity” is the story of the rise and fall of a small local music venue, told through show posters and written clues. From the grand opening in January to the final, tragic end in December, viewers can explore the timeline and follow the ups and downs, the fights and fumbles, and the mystery behind the closed doors of this fictional house of music. “The New Varsity” opens First Thursday, March 4, 2010, from 6-10pm.
