Beer Release Party @ East Burn on Saturday: Gilgamesh Brewery

If you don't have 30 clams for the Firkin Fest on Saturday, just go up the street to East Burn. Gilgamesh is bringing nine beers to town for a partay

From Press Release
Portland Release Party – Sat, April 17

For those of you in Portland, we will be celebrating our release at the East Burn (1800 E Burnside) this Saturday night (4/17). We'll be starting at 7pm 6pm and will be serving our Black Mamba, IPA, and HopScotch. Also, there will be live music later in the evening. Again, we will have a lot of the family at the party, so please pop in to say HI! Please see http://www.theeastburn.com/event_2.htm for more details.

If you are unable to join us at either event, Venti's and the East Burn will keep us on tap for a while (if it's popular enough, hopefully they'll keep bringing us back!) so please pop in at a later date! And if we're not on tap, please request it!

GILGAMESH BREWING'S BLACK MAMBA WINS PEOPLES' CHOICE AWARD AT SPRING BEER & WINE FEST!

While we all had a great time and felt please at our first public appearance in Portland, I don't think any of us excepted to WIN THE PEOPLES' CHOICE AWARD! We are incredibly excited and can't thank everyone enough for their support!

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon! Please see our "Events" link to the right for upcoming events, including our Salem Release Party @ Ventis on Wed, April 14th and our Portland Release Party @ The East Burn on Sat, April 17th (plus many more!).

Thanks for the post! We hope to see you at the East Burn! Just a couple of small things… We have changed the event to start at 6:00 and the East Burn will actually have four of our brews on tap, including:
    * Our award-winning Black Mamba: brewed with black tea leaves instead of hops, with tangerine zest
    * IPA: at over 160 IBU’s this is a hoppy beer, but it is very well-balanced
    * HopScotch: a maltier scotch ale, with a smattering of floral hops
    * Chocolate Mint Stout: perfect combination of quality cocoa, locally grown mint, and mild stout flavor

We will be giving away free shirts throughout the event! We hope to see you there!

EVENT CHANGE: THERE WILL BE NO CHOCOLATE MINT STOUT AVAILABLE AT THIS EVENT! We apologize for the confusion.

WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
