The Wordstock Book-to-Film Festival
April 30-May 2, 2010
That's right: It's back! Wordstock is pleased to present the second annual installment of our Book-to-Film series. Where last year's lineup was comprised of highly regarded films made by famous directors, we decided to go in a little different direction this year. The films we're showcasing this year fall more under the “cult classic” category. These are all movies that you've seen many times, but rarely on the big screen.
Well, now's your chance! Take a look at what's in store this year:
The Princess Bride (1987. Novel by William Goldman. Directed by Rob Reiner. )
The Outsiders (1983. Novel by S.E. Hinton. Directed by Francis Ford Coppola.)
Charlotte's Web (1973. Novel by E.B. White. Directed by Charles A. Nichols & Iwao Takamoto.)
High Fidelity (2000. Novel by Nick Hornby. Directed by Stephen Frears.)
Fight Club (1999. Novel by Chuck Palahniuk. Directed by David Fincher.)
