As we posted earlier this week, Portland's Queer Documentary Film Festival (QDoc) kicks off tonight. We have a two pairs of tickets to give away as well. To win, comment on this post which film you would like to see and WHY. Winner drawn on Friday morningish.

QDoc: Portland Queer Documentary Film Festival with Le Tigre & Topp Twins!!

Enter to win a pair of tickets to see “Le Tigre: On Tour” or "The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls" at the only queer film festival in the US – QDoc: Portland Queer Documentary Film Festival! The Festival, timed to kick off the LGBT Pride Month in Portland, is a fun, inspiring, and community-building event happening June 3-6 at the Clinton Street Theater (2522 SE Clinton).
On Saturday, June 5th at 8:30pm QDoc is showing “Le Tigre: On Tour”, a doc about the post Riot Grrl electro band phenom of feminist and queer culture, Le Tigre, with director Kerthy Fix in attendance.
Also, a pair of tickets to the Closing Night film on June 6th at 7pm, to see the award winning documentary directed by Leanne Pooley, "The Topp Twins: Untouchable Girls", about twin yodeling lesbian sisters, Jools and Lynda Topp of New Zealand, a cherished and charmingly irrepressible performing duo. The Topp Twins will be in attendance. Drag performers, William Burroughs, and a documentary about California's Proposition 8 also included.

i would like to see the topp twins most, because i heard it’s fabulous. but le tigre would be cool too. :)

I think it would be K*** A** to win tickets to see Le Tigre. Because they rock, and I have a couple friends who are going so I would love to meet up with them. And I would buy tickets, but am having to save up some cash to get my wisdom teeth pulled. (Figured you’d need a reason why I don’t just go and buy tickets).

I would utterly, phenomenally and fundamentally be so appreciative to win free tix to see LeTigre. Why? Because not only am I a lesbian, but I am also 1/4 tigre (or tiger if you will). I used to be ashamed of the latter fact but after time, a great deal of therapy, and experiencing the pride with which these women live their lives I was able to proudly announce to the world my true heritage.
(plus I am broke)
