Battle for Supremacy 2010: And Then There Was One. It All Comes Down to One Final Match to Crown the New 2010 Champions
On Saturday June 19th at the Portland Expo Center, experience the culmination of the most competitive season in Portland roller derby history as the Heartless Heathers battle the High Rollers for the Rose City Rollers 2010 League Championship.
When these two teams met again in March, the High Rollers scored an exciting final jam, come from behind 113-112 victory over the favored Heathers. Both are undefeated since and are playing at an exceptionally high level. Saturday night, they'll be leaving it all out on the track as they clash for the ultimate prize.
In the night's opening bout, Licker*n*Split, SoulFearic Acid and the Break Neck Betties take on Blood Clottia, Cadillac and Guns N' Rollers, with third place (and pride) on the line.

I would love to go! My favorite team would be the Heartless Heathers, so classic! I have never been to the actual derby and would love love love to see it for my first time! Oh and free beer doesn’t hurt! :) My girlfriend wants to try this sport, and us seeing it will be a good thing to get her motivated! THX

I used to watch roller derby on TV while I was growing up in a town too small to have a derby itself. I recently rediscovered my love of roller skating (right at good old Oaks Park!), and a friend of mine is trying out for a team soon. I’ve been reminded of how much I loved watching it on TV, and I’d love to see how much better it is really being there, but with my boyfriend and I both working at nonprofits it’s hard to pony up the bucks for tickets. I would love to go to this match on Saturday and I need free tickets to do it as I am dirt poor, plum broke, over spent! My favorite team is GNR! The are bad ass in the raw and I love them. If I get to go, I will drink beer, loudly cheer and take lots of photos!

I would love love love to see these girls live! I am a big fan of roller derby, and want to play (unfortunately, budget currently wouldn’t cover the cost of skates and pads) the next best thing would be to go watch and cheer them on!!

I still don’t know what Roller Derby is! I’ve tried to win but never have. Also when i want to go to one, I have to work Saturday nights. Luckly, I asked for this Saturday off to take my father-in-law hiking, and maybe afterwards A derby. Since the Portalnd Beavers are moving I need a new team to root for.
