A Fresh Summer With And And And
So far, this might be the album of the summer. I mean, summer just started, but it's means something if “summer” is in the title, doesn't it? And And And return with a followup to their We Were Better off With The Plants, an album that mixed percussive anthem indie and strained-vocal-almost-punk, perfect for road trips and drunken sing-a-longs.
A Fresh Summer with And And And promises to be an active soundtrack for summer mischief, focusing forward on faster beats from the get go and (save for a couple tracks here and there) sticks to it with their classic messy energy. Getting away from cleverly spurned-lover lyrics, A Fresh Summer picks up the torch of We Were Better…, but lights a whole new fire under your ass to keep you moving. Dance to it, fall over to it, get hit in the face by it. This album just feels like movement. They picked it up, so so should you!
