It's a Picnic in the Park
Celebrate the weekend at the Portland Saturday Market's new Waterfront Home. With sprawling green lawns surrounding the Market, there is no shortage of picnic space for you, your family and your dog to play in the sun. The Bill Naito Legacy Fountain at Portland Saturday Market, which is designed for folks of all ages to frolic in the waters adds an element of surprise with its ever-changing water patterns.
No picnic is complete without the perfect meal and you don't have to pack your own! The Market has over 20 food carts to choose from. At Old Town Burger, you'll find Burgers, chicken sandwiches, chili dogs, southwest salads, and seasonal desserts.
Don't think we've forgotten your four-legged friends. We've got hundreds of treats for dogs of all shapes and sizes. Check out Sewing Ventures (Booth #308) or Doodlebug Duds (Booth #805) for the perfect waterproof dog coats, collars and leashes, reversible scarves, fleece sweaters, beds, carriers and tug toys. No trip to the Market with your dog is complete without getting a bag of Reba's Healthy Gourmet Doggy Cookies. You'll find several flavors of these crunchy wholesome cookies at Booth # 909.
The Market's Main Stage will be serving up a great mix of music all weekend long with the likes of The Shinkle Band (Americana), SupaDupa Marimba Bros. on Saturday & The Blair St Mugwump's, Black Market Report on Sunday.
About Portland Saturday Market
Portland Saturday Market is the largest arts and crafts market in continuous operation in the United States. It is held every Saturday and Sunday from March through Christmas Eve at SW Ankeny + Naito Parkway. The Market has over 350 vendors who generate about $8 million in gross sales annually and attract over 1 million visitors to the historic Old Town district of Portland each year.
All items sold at the Portland Saturday Market are required to be handmade by the person selling it, and a product review committee of members juries each new item against a high standard of quality. The Market is accessible by TriMet's MAX line which stops within the Market at the Skidmore Fountain stop. Make a $25 purchase and receive a free TriMet ticket or a two hour parking validation at any Smart Park garage.

I would love to win a gift certificate to Saturday Market. With that in hand I wouldn’t need an excuse to go I would have one. My family and I love Saturday Market. My brother and his family are moving home tomorrow and one of the first things his wife and I plan on doing is visiting Saturday Market.

I’d love to win because my two daughters are dying to go experience the Saturday Market. They love the Beaverton Farmer’s Market and want to experience a bigger one. As a crafter and small business owner myself, I try to support small businesses as much as possible, and I love Saturday market because it makes that easy for me (plus it’s just generally awesome). I figure it’s a small thing I can do to help create a world where more people are doing things they love, rather than just slogging through life.
And as a small business owner, money’s on the tight side, so a gift certificate would be much appreciated!

Recently moved to Portland and never been to Saturday Market. My father passed away last year and I would love to use the $25 gift card to discover what Satuday Market is all about. The Saturday Market is one of the first things my boyfriend took me to when I first visited Portland and its one of the first things that made me fall in love with POrtland. You get a dose of Portland at the market, there is a little bit of everything and something for everyone and that is just like Portland. I love the market and would love a gift certificate as I’ve been wanting to getting those cool I love Oregon sweatshirts that have the logo that all the bumper stickers have :)

That is such bull, there are so many stands that the items are not handmade or even made by the person selling it. I also think they should have a area with revolving vendors or else it’s just the same people selling stuff all summer long.
Having said that I would sure like a gift certificate and would spend it all on Pierogies….hmmmm….25 dollars worth of them…..hmmmmm….

I would love to win a gift certificate for my husband as of currently I’ve had 5 surgeries and looking at back surgery soon which took up most of our money and now last week we had a garage fire which destroyed a lot of our belongings. I would love to win this certificate as it would give me a little something to get him a gift.
