Saturday: Lake Oswego Centennial Festival On Luscher Farm

If you want to venture just outside of Portland this weekend, Lake Oswego is haveing a huge celebration for it's 100 year anniversary. The festival is free and on Luscher Farm. There is live music all day, a bungee run, obstacle course, free tennis lessons, hot air balloons, dunk tank, lawn games, food, wine and beer garden, and probably a ton more stuff on the flyer below. Pretty nice indeed.

FREE one-day-only Lake Oswego Centennial to celebrate the city's 100th birthday! The entire family will be treated to live entertainment, interactive pavilions showcasing the city's past, present and future, plus lots of family-friendly activities like hot air balloon and horse-drawn wagon rides, ice cream making, field games and activities and more.  There's a beer/wine garden next to the Main Stage for adults.  For complete music/entertainment listings on MAIN STAGE, visit www.lakeoswego100.com.

Time: One-day-only, Saturday, July 17, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a special outdoor screening "THE BLIND SIDE" at 9:30 p.m.

ATTENTION: CENTENNIAL SHUTTLES will be transporting visitors to the Festival all day long as there is no parking available at Luscher Farm this day.  Centennial Shuttles will be running all day long from numerous Lake Oswego locations as there will be absolutely no parking available at Luscher Farm.  Nearby parking is available at Lakeridge High School.  There will be additional shuttles to transport people from Lakeridge High School to Hazelia Field and Luscher Farm. Remember there is no parking at the Festival itself, with free EcoShuttles providing transportation to Luscher Farm from locations in Downtown Lake Oswego and from the City of Lake Oswego's West End Building. Parking will be also available at Lakeridge High School, less than a half mile away from the farm.
