From Leigh Feldman:
Things I'm currently jocking…

Free ish… We have tix here and will be giving away some on twitter (add @leighfeldman3) to Mortified (tonight), Passes to the Int'l Beer Fest (fri), tickets to Philly's Phunkestra & Marv Ellis (fri) and to the Scarub of Living Legends + Very, AfroClassics tour next weekend (7/23)! Wanna win any of them? Forward this email to a friend, have them write us asking to join the group and we'll enter you both in a drawing to win — or you can find us on facebook at facebook.com/LifeisaPartyFB to get tickets, music and info on weekly events.

Free music ish… This mix from Supa Qool DJ Quartermaine. http://www.mediafire.co m/?2dm2wzvy3zt. It's big on the originals into sample using tracks, but for anyone having a barbq or a fan of hip hop, this is a mix you should grab.

Awesome Ish… After a long wait, Portland is finally getting its own world-class comedy club!! Portland's Auggie Smith, from Comedy Central's “Live at Gotham” and NBC's “Last Comic Standing,” will be performing at the opening weekend of Helium Comedy Club Thursday July 29 to Sat. July 31st. They also have comedians from Reno911, Chelsea Lately and Whose Line Is It Anyway booked for the next few weeks! Head to www.heliumcomedy.com for tickets, schedule information, clips and advance rsvp to see Maria Bamford, Bill Burr, Todd Glass and Greg Proops!

This list is growing by leaps and bounds. Turn to the person next to you and see if they are reading the same email. If not, forward it to them and tell them to join the community.

Life is a party, everyone is just waiting to be invited.
See you all out and about! Leigh Feldman

End Of An Era: Malice Is Leaving Portland + Final Dates @ Sassy's

Well, sad news for Portland. Our most famous adult entertainer is moving to LA at the end of this month. I contacted Malice to see if she had any last dates here in Portland and she'll be at Sassy's Thursday-Saturday through the end of July. I imagine that last day, July 31, will be quite a scene over there.

Portland (& the 97214) will miss you. Check her out before she's gone.

Mortified Portland Returns To Mission Theater
For Two Nights In July

Mortified, the cult comedy sensation that's a smash hit in LA, NYC, D.C., San Francisco, Austin, Chicago & Boston returns to McMenamins Mission Theater following a two-night sold out show in April.  Come see our performers share their shame on Thursday, July 15 and Friday, July 16.

Hailed locally by The Oregonian, Portland Monthly, and Willamette Week, and nationally by Newsweek, NBC's The Today Show, Entertainment Weekly and NPR's This American Life, Mortified stars everyday people reading aloud their most embarrassing, pathetic and private teenage diary entries, poems, love letters, lyrics and locker notes… in front of total strangers.  Witness "personal redemption through public humiliation" in a refreshing show that is equal parts comedic, cathartic and voyeuristic.  The largest and longest running project of its kind returns featuring a collection of Portland's bravest souls.
