This Weekend: Natasha Leggero @ Helium Comedy Club + Win Tickets

Our partners over at Helium Comedy Club survived their opening weekend and have Natasha Leggero here in Portland Thursday-Saturday of this weekend. She's currently a judge on Last Comic Standing, has been “Chelsea Lately”, Reno 911. She is also a survivor of Great Snowpocalypse of 2008, and as you can see, Andy Dick once tried to eat her head.
We have a pair a few pairs (thanks Helium!) of tickets to give out for Thursday at 8PM and Friday/Saturday at 10:30PM. To win, comment on this post why you would like to attend. Important: choose day in comment.

Marc Grossman is proud to announce the grand opening of Helium Comedy 
Club Located on the 2nd floor of 1510 SE 9th street. It's the intersection of Hawthorne and 9th across from the Lucky Lab which is currently known as the Chelsea Ballroom. The new comedy club will have 275 seats and is set to open on July 29th, 2010.

Really though I would love to see Natasha, I was only able to see her for about 5 minutes at Bridgetown ’09.

I am a huge stand up fan and I am dying to check out the finished version of helium. I interviewed for a job there and got a tour of the venue while it was completely under construction and I’m intrigued to see the finished project. Ps. I got the job, but turned it down. I would like Friday tickets, ’cause it will be more rowdy, and therefore fun.

I would love Thursday night tickets. I am the biggest fan of Natasha, the lady with the smallest “assets” on Chelsea Lately but some of the biggest laughs. I love people who can laugh at themselves and their own jokes. Natasha makes each night funnier.

I would really enjoy seeing a Natasha Leggero at Helium on Thursday or Friday(Preferably Friday) because I think she is talented comedian, and really like the fact that Portland is getting a real comedy club. I plan on attending shows at Helium regularly and supporting local and national comics.

I would be beyond grateful to go to this comedy show. I have not once been to a comedy club in all they years living here in portland, or California. This would be an amazing opportunity to do something I’ve always wanted, at a new venue, in a much loved city. I have always talked about hitting up a comedy show, yet time and lack of funds have hindered it manifesting. Besides, who doesn’t love to laugh!!!

The 7 & 7′s were flowing and the laughs were non-stop. Helium still had the fresh paint smell. Natasha survived an uninteresting audience. Had to overcome a front row filled with no personalty. And an overly physical possible ex- stripper. I was embarassed for her at the end. Portland don’t go to a comedy club and sit up front unless you can feed the comic. We got to know more about her.
