Rooftop Cinema, an annual outdoor summer event that combines the love of movies with local music and a panoramic view of downtown Portland. The event will run July 22 – August 26, 2010, and take place every Thursday night atop the parking garage at the Hotel deLuxe (729 SW 15th Ave). The series line-up includes noir films, international classics, rock documentaries, animation and rarely seen campy films from the fringes of cinema.

Dear PDX Pipeline,
Today is unfortunately my last full day in this gorgeous city of Portland. Tomorrow we leave for the east coast.
I came out here for the summer with my boyfriend for his environmental law internship. We traveled nearly 4000 miles from the hot south of Atlanta, Georgia to spend our summer in the land of local brews, great indie rock and bikes galore. Your website has served as our main source of local happenings all summer and this would be a fitting end to our glorious adventure in your northwestern lands. Please grant us one last fun-filled Portland-esk evening attending this movie atop Hotel deLuxe.
