  3.   Ryan Herron Says:

I’d love to check this place out! First weekend I have off in a lonnng while, Maria Bamford sounds like the perfect way to unwind. “Old Mcdonald had a pterodactyl. . “

  4.   Amy Says:

I love Maria Bamford, and love seeing and supporting female comics!

  5.   Jason Says:

To all people who enter. Yes, they do give tickets out. My friend won last week and let me tell you it was funny. I’m waiting for Doug Benson to show up there. To PDX, I’m not entering this contest. I feel it would be unfair to everyone if I entered, when my friend won last week and took me. Good luck to all.

  6.   Merina Says:

BECAUSE I NEED TO GET OUT AND LAUGH !!! My friend from Nevada is coming and it would show her yet another reason she needs to move here.

  7.   Molly Says:

This is my boyfriend’s birthday! He loves her! Oh to get us two tickets and make his day!

  8.   Rb. Says:

Maria is truly one of my very favorite comics! I’ve seen her do 15 minute sets a couple of times but have never seen a full headlining set.

She’s also inspired me to start singing my anxieties. Haha.(sounds weird but you’ll get it if you really love her).

    Fingers crossed!

Here is a small list of reasons as to why I would love to win tickets to see Maria Bamford.

    1. The boost of self-esteem that will occur when I enter the club and casually say “oh, I’m on the list” might be enough to get me through the rest of the weekend without sobbing uncontrollably.

    2. I need to be around real people that aren’t my family members for a night. I’ve spent too much time visiting/working for the folks up in Washington lately. I’m forgetting how to be a Portlander.

    3. Maria borrowed my car in 2007 and hasn’t returned it yet. (Don’t question it, just believe it.)

    4. I’ve been ordered by my therapist to get out more and have a bit of a laugh once in a while. Wait…that may have been something I saw on a BBC program because I don’t have a therapist. Oh boy…

Basically, winning tickets to this show will solve everything. No pressure…

  10.   Arla Wood Says:

I would LOVE to see this comedian!! She’s hilarious!

  11.   Ashley Says:

    It’s just brunch.

  12.   sone Says:

me! me! me! _been dyin to make it there and could really use a pick me up….trying not to be “so alcoholic”

    helium train take me away!

  13.   Jerm Says:

Maria, since you won’t talk to me or let me see our baby then I’ll have to crash your show in Portland. I’ll most likely show up drunk and without pants or underwear so that I get all the laughs. You owe me alimony so fork it over. I’ll settle for a case of Jim Beam. Just show me our little signal during your show, you know, when you flash me, and then I’ll know your cool with that.
    jerm

  14.   Megan Says:

Oh my god I would love to go!! Pretty please let me win!! *bats eyelashes*

  15.   Jamie Marie Waelchli Says:

Maria Bamford is my ultimate metal cupcake.

  16.   Holly Says:

Sounds like a great time! I would love to win tickets, I have been wanting to check out Helium for over a month now.

  17.   KC Says:

Maria is a cool person, hilarious, and very deserving of her success. I went to middle and high school with her (yes, really). My girlfriend hasn’t seen her yet, and it’d be great to see her again.

  18.   Becca Says:

I would like to go because no one is a bigger Bamford fan than I (except maybe my boyfriend… and these tickets would be a surprise gift for him).

Maria and I have so much in common. My mother also thinks I look mentally ill when I don’t wear makeup. (Baby look pretty now mummy?) I also have two pugs who do nothing but snore and fart. And I’m also from a part of the country that means that when I get homesick, I put on my Zeppelin CD, plug in my curling iron and get “full-on” pretty. OK, I’m off to go sing my anxiety song now.

  19.   David Says:

because she’s hilarious, and because it would be free! win-win!

  20.   Ryan Says:

Great site! I wish I knew about PDXPIPELINE earlier. Anyway- I would absolutely love to see Maria Bamford. She is hilarious!

Helium and Maria are awesome – I would love to take my boyfriend to this show :O) He finally has a Friday night off and we both love this comedian. Fingers crossed for Pdx Pipeline to help me make this happen!!

  23.   Jason Says:

My girlfriend and I love Maria Bamford. We first saw her on Tim and Eric Awesome Show – she’s so good!

  24.   Jamal Qutub Says:

I would love to see an up and coming female comic at Helium. I’ve never been to Helium and would love to take my wife. It’s our anniversary today :) Thanks!

  25.   John Mason IV Says:

    1) My girlfriend and her bff-friend nick-named themselves the Golden Hen and Donut after Bamford’s hypothetical children.
    2) The last time I saw comedy was at Harvey’s–I deserve a break for being put through that.

  26.   Cliff Says:

I would love to go see Maria, she’s hilarious and I would love to check out Helium too!!

  27.   Meghan Calahan Says:

I’d kill for these tickets. Huge Maria Bramford fan (HUGE!) love the Comedians of Comedy folks…too broke when Patton Oswalt came to town, too broke for Brian Poeshn…still too broke but if I win tickets mama gets a much deserved night out (which has been rare due to babies, and well, being broke!) Make my night pipeline…hell, make my summer by delighting me with the hilarious weird amazing Maria :)

  28.   Kim D Says:

LOVE Maria Bamford! We want to go to this!

  36.   marissa Says:

My friend and I live for stand-up comedy! As a humourous woman myself I’m always looking to support a fellow female with a good sense of humour! Maria is a Saint! I would love to be able to surprise my friend with a set of tickets!!
