From WonderDiamond Productions: Thrashin
The producers of Hot Gun, WonderDiamond Productions have a new story to tell. They the 80's skate movie Thrashin and turning it into a rock opera. Two halfpipes inside Dantes, live band “Penalty” playing the soundtrack, projections adapted from original movie.
Thrashin is basically West Side Story with skateboards. And a killer joust scene where the two lead actors put their cock n balls in glass peanut butter jars and battle till one breaks. These 3 shows happen during and is part of the Trifecta “skateboard event” each night a different rock band will play on the halfpipe on stage after the play.

The downhill scene in Thrashin inspired me to teach myself to longboard back in the sticks of northern MI in 1999. Since then I’ve skated zoobomb and met the Daggers at the Maryhill festival of Speed. Love this movie!
