Once again, we start off our huge list of Portland Halloween parties with two free tickets to the Ooky Spooky BarFly Bus. We put these tickets up early because they ALWAYS sell out early. Ten buses sold out last year.
To win, comment on this post why you would like to ride the BarFly Bus on Halloween. Winner will be drawn & emailed Monday, September 13 @ 3PM.

Trick or treat to the max onboard the 11th Annual Ooky-Spooky Halloween BarFly Bus! There'll be thrills and chills all night long as we visit some of the scariest haunts in Portland. Multiple costume contests throughout the night with fun prizes (and sometimes even cold, hard cash!), too.

Okay, I won’t lie here—I haven’t been really drunk since before I got pregnant in June 2009. I’d really like to go out, visit lots of bars and have fun drinking without having to worry about driving.

I’ve never been on a barfly bus, and Had to work on halloween night for the last 7 years. It’s my favorite holiday, and this year I got the night off! I can finally wear the costume I’ve been planning for 7 full years, and would die to be able to be entered into multiple costume contests. Pick me!

I have a good friend from my hometown in Florida coming to visit me this Halloween. She’s the first one of my friends to come visit and I want to blow her away with an awesome Halloween adventure! As for me, this has been the worst year of my life, I never do anything for Halloween, and I want to do something amazing and memorable so this year isn’t a total shitfest. (cue the violins)

I have attended 4 different themed barfly bus tours but have yet to be on the halloween tour. It looks like a blast & i always have a great time! Time to get my crazy costume made. If i get on the bus lets hope its with jedidiah or jen lane as the guide cause they a great time :)

I am pen pals with an inmate in an undisclosed facility in rural Oregon. He’s being released a few days before this. I think alcohol, scary costumes and chaos would be a super appropriate way to celebrate his reentry into society. I mean, I’m pretty sure he was in prison for a nonviolent offense, so it should be cool, right?

This Halloween, my little brother is coming to visit me here in Portland. He just turned 21 last week, and this will be his first “night out” experience as he attends Eastern Washington University in the sleepy town of Cheney Washington. I really want to show him a good time, and what better way to do that, than with a BarFly Party Bus… which I myself have also never been a part of.

My boyfriend was traveling all last October so we ended up having a sucky Hallowwen with dumb costumes. This wear we have rockin costumes…we ordered them all the way from Europe! We want to have an awesome halloween to make up for last years failure! It would be great to spend it on the barfly bus with other awesome portlanders!!!’

Am I the only HALLOWEENIE that wants to go? In my not so distant past, I would go out with my manfriend who would play in a tribute band that was always busy on Halloween. Since that doesn’t happen anymore, It’s all about the Me. Oh have I have been neglected. People always want to get their pictures taken with me in my costumes. I would love to win tickets–Halloween is my favorite holiday–every year I get dressed up and then stay home like a big dork to hand out Halloween candy to all the trick-or-treaters so far I’ve had “0″ —–three years in a row!!!! I am new to town and my FAVORITE Holiday is Halloween- but I haven’t met many people yet and this would really be a blast!
