About Randy Kaplan: Nickelodeon's Parentsconnect has chosen Randy's new CD The Kids Are All Id as a “Parent Pick” for 2010. His offbeat acoustic music has been a "top 10 pick" on NPR and he gets regular play on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio. Offering a Woody Guthrie-esque style that blends a chatty kind of storytelling with an eclectic range of rootsy music, Kaplan paints a humorous and poignant picture with every song. About Recess Monkey: Though not entirely raised in the trees, this group of (in their own words) “excitable, friendly, and charming” Seattle-based teachers/performers knows how to monkey around with the latest sound that always gets their audiences (usually young homo sapiens) up and swinging! People magazine just gave the band's new CD The Final Funktier a four-star review. More info: www.recessmonkey.com.
About Johnny Bregar: This Seattle based family music artist creates rootsy, jazzy, bluesy tunes that are simple and real. Two of his songs have been featured on Putumayo Kids CDs, and he recently entertained 2,000 fans at the Oregon Zoo! More info: www.johnnybregar.com

We’d love to go because this album has become my son’s favorite since it arrived. Because the Princess who Saved Herself is my role model. And because little by little the little bird builds its nest… has been stuck in my head for weeks.

I would love to take my niece and nephew to see this. I think it’s important that children learn about what is going on in other countries.
