Black Label Society!!
Got to see Zack Wylde, Paul Gilbert, and Yngwie Malmsteem to round out my thrasher guitarists. He’s one of the few guitarists that play speed metal solos over slow softy songs and somehow make them fit (see “In This River” live on Youtube).

I would LOVE tickets to see Michael Franti and Spearhead Saturday night. I’m a teacher and need a night out to listen to some great music!!! As you know all of the budget/salary cuts have made it more difficult for us to afford great entertainment and nights out. Thanks for considering me.

I HAVE to see Spearhead. My co-worker has seen Franti at least 15 times. Every time I tell him no. I swore to him I’d go this time, but I ended up getting Gogol Bordello tix first and now can’t afford Franti. I told him if I didn’t go the next time I’d buy him beer for one month. If I can’t afford Franti tix, I can’t afford beer for a month. And he’s a big dude!

I would LOVE to see Spearhead, Black Label, Heart, Rootz Underground, or K’naan! They all are quite awesome and would be hard to decide, so if you picked me for tickets you could pick any one of those shows and I would be ecstatic!!!!

dj shadow because every old school dj i have seen at the roseland is better than the next.
the rootz underground at berbati’s–missed them play Corners of My Mind last time they were in town by two minutes. i want a replay.
michael franti at roseland — saw him in eugene a few weeks ago and there is nothing like a franti concert to make your forget winter just started.

Knowing Michael Franti’s music from his San Fran days when he first joined up with Tse with The Beatnigs. And then as they both added Charlie Hunter for a new sound. I would love to see how his stage presence evolved especially if he he sharing it with Cherine Anderson.

I would love to see Michael Franti and Spearhead. They have excellent messages that I’d be proud to support yet as poor college student, it’s not the funds. Also, I’m a very big fan of K’Naan, aka the dusty foot philosopher. He’s got some great work and I imagine he’d put on a wonderful show. I’d appreciate tickets to either of these shows! Thanks.

I would love the opportunity to see Michael Franti and Spearhead on Saturday night! The band is a family favorite, but I’ve never seen them live. Seeing Spearhead would be awesome. Last year, I bought my brother and his tickets to see them in Boston so it would be really cool to see the show myself this year but I don’t have the cash to make it happen and my family is on the east coast. Please!

As a fellow musician, I would love to see spearhead for many reasons:
-Michael and Co. Bring a positive attitude to a world of negative and meaningless pop music (candy coated songs about nothing weighing down the collective top 40)
-I have liked Spearhead for longer than just the “Say Hey!” time span.
- I would love to take my girlfriend. I have a Master’s in Education and cannot afford to. The economy stinks and I am waiting tables at the moment. Thus, I cannot afford the tickets. This would be an excellent light in our lives.

I’d love to see the legendary DJ Shadow. Why? He hasn’t been in PORTLAND for over 3 yrs. I saw him last time and he put on a great audio and visual presentation. There was a rumor going around that his records got jacked here thus why he hasnt come back. I don’t know if its true, but I’d like to see him give PDX another shot. He’s a humble and talented Dj, he has put in work.
I’m loving the Roseland, just saw Major Lazer, Chali 2na, and the Roots all at the Roseland. I like the fact that the main floor isn’t seperated, security/staff our friendly, and theres enough room to breath, dance, and enjoy the show!
