October 5, 2010 — PDXPIPELINEPipeline has partnered with Helium Comedy Club and we are giving away tickets to many of their shows. We have a few pairs for Nick Thune this Friday & Saturday (8PM & 10:30PM each night). Winners will be drawn and emailed Friday, October 1 at 3PM.

Helium Comedy Club located at SE 9th & Hawthorne welcomes Nick Thune from “Comedy Central Presents…” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on October 7th-9th. Showtimes are 8pm with an additional 10:30 show on Friday and Saturday. Tickets range from $15-$25.
Nick Thune grew up in Seattle and moved to LA to pursue his dream of comedy. Since then he has performed on The Tonight Show two times and on both occasions, he won. Also, Nick has a half hour special on Comedy Central an appearance on Late Night w/ Jimmy Fallon and his own web series w/ Atom Films at nicksbigshow.com.
Nick's album, Thick Noon, was released in February of 2010 by Comedy Central Records. Nick can be seen in Mike Judge's movie "Extract" and the independent film "Highway 61" opposite Tobin Bell. Thune's other film credits include "Spring Breakdown", "Unaccompanied Minors" and "Knocked Up". Currently, Nick is touring the country, changing lives one joke at a time.

I fell in love with Nick when he performed the “instant messenger song” I remember the days of dial up and boy it sure did make chatting SLOW!
