It’s the 10th Anniversary of Scream at the Beach – Portland’s largest and most popular haunted event is back – ranked as one of the Top 3 Haunts in the nation! Scream at the Beach is Portland’s scariest and highest quality Halloween event, offering numerous haunts in one massive walk through with a complete Halloween Town, concessions, games and contests all at Jantzen Beach Super Center (inside the Main Mall).
Attractions: The producers of Scream at the Beach have created an all new 10th Anniversary Haunt - 9 storied areas in one massive haunt created as a walk-through experience like no other ever seen.
Nightmares in Wonderland: The Scream at the Beach producers have something really special planned this year. In honor of their 10th Anniversary, they are taking you through the Looking Glass into a twisted and demented version of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. There will be nine differently themed areas and all new characters. This Alice is one twisted chick! Her demure smile hides something, and it becomes clear what that something is when she recounts some of her surreal journeys to the other side of the looking glass. Journey with Alice through some of these harrowing Nightmares in Wonderland… just be sure you’re not late!
Week Three: October 15, 16 and 17 only (7:00pm each day)
Week Four/Five: October 18 through 30 (everyday at 7:00pm)
Final Night: October 31 (7:00pm till midnight)
Times: Sunday through Thursdays - 7am to 10pm, Friday and Saturdays, 7pm to 11pm.

I’d like to go because I love all things twisted, and most especially twisted versions of Alice. Tim Burton’s movie was such a disappointment — I’m hoping Scream at the Beach can do better!

I am a single mom raising 2 children on my own and am looking for something fun to do as a family event. My oldest daughter is a Senior in highschool and most likely will be the last halloween we will do together as a family. My son is 7 years old and has never been to scarey haunted house and is so excited about Halloween this year!

On Oct 16 it will be my birthday. Talk about scary…..I Really want to go to this. Its been a long time since I had a good scare…..Oh wait I had a good scare this morning when I looked in my mirror. I would like to go to Nightmares in Wonderland mainly because Alice in Wonderland has ALWAYS been one of my favorite stories but also because Halloween is my favorite time of year due to my love of scary movies and hunted houses. Also, I’ve never gotten to go to Scream at the Beach because I can’t afford it and this would be the perfect opportunity. :)

Pick me please, because last year I spent many hours decorating, cooking and putting together some awesome drinks to have a Halloween party. Some unexpected drunks showed up and ruined the whole night! Have never been to Scream at the beach and also need a night out away from the kids.

I would love to win these tickets; my boyfriend and I have never been to a real haunted house before. My fourth grade teacher tried to make me go in one even though I wasn’t in the mood, and made them turn on the lights and forced me to walk through against my will. It was very embarrassing. I think I am ready to do it on my own (while clutching my boyfriend, that is).

I feel I should win a couple tickets to Scream at the Beach because I am 36 weeks pregnant and never get out of the house! I’m really tired of being pregnant and am thinking maybe it might help put me into labor or at least get the ball rolling a little bit. =) I’ve never been to this event before, and I’ve heard nothing but great things about it! I know that as soon as I have my son, my freedom will virtually be lost! It would be nice to have one last free night out!

At the Clark County fair I took my 9yo son through the Scream at the Beach attraction. He became scared enough that he wanted to take the escape exit 3/4 of the way through but it was too late. Now he wants to return and go through the whole thing. I’ve got to see just how brave he is.
