We have a one pair for pairs for each show with Doug Benson this Friday & Saturday (8PM & 10:30PM each night). Winners will be drawn and emailed Friday, October 15 at 3PM.

Helium Comedy Club located at SE 9th & Hawthorne welcomes Doug Benson from Super High Me, “Comedy Central Presents…” and NBC's “Last Comic Standing” on October 14th-16th. Show times are 8pm with an additional 10:30 show on Friday and Saturday. Tickets range from $15-$25.
Doug Benson has appeared on Comedy Central Presents, Best Week Ever and was a contestant on Last Comic Standing, where he finished 6th in the show's fifth season. He starred in Super High Me, a documentary about marijuana usage. Benson also currently hosts the popular Doug Loves Movies podcast which is recorded live at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and is now in its third season. His upcoming Comedy Central series The Benson Interruption will begin airing on October 28, 2010.

I’d love tickets for the 8pm Friday or Saturday show, because he’s one of the funniest comedians around right now. I had to pause his stand-up a couple times because I was laughing too hard and it was distracting.

I should win these tickets for the following reasons:
1. I posted first. I mean, come on.
2. I work in the medical marijuana field. Thus, I feel like Doug and I have something in common.
3. Doug is hilarious. That’s a no brainer.
4. My girlfriend has friends coming in from Eugene that she wants to impress, and what’s cooler than winning tickets?

I am already going to this……So i don’t need the tickets. To everyone else who wants doug benson tickets if your birthday month is in October, Call the club and you get 4 free tickets!!!!! I have been trying to see Doug Benson for years nowbut it never works out. The last time he as in town i bought tickets and my wife ended up in the emergency room with pregnancy complications. The whole family is fine now but we still want to see Doug Benson. I also love Helium and pdx pipeline. Friday at 8 would be awesome. Thanks

I think that people need to realize that there is more to Doug Benson than just getting high. He’s a comedian, an amazing comedian and I admire him very much for being able to go up on stage and do what he does every night. I would love to see Doug because his comedy helped me go through a pretty stressful time in life. Being able to go to his show and just relax would be a dream for me! I had a baby six months ago and it’s been forever that my husband and I have just been able to go out and have a good time with eachother. Thank you. :)

Doug Benson is my absolute, hands down favorite comic. I am a huge fan of Doug Loves Movies and the Benson Interruption and still can’t believe he didn’t win last comic standing (though he didn’t need it)…. I love him, FISHERMAN’S—WHARF.
He is absolutely hilarious, and his Marijuanalogues always have me in stitches. I like how he’s just not a stoner comic, but everyone I know laugh their collective asses off to him.
Oh and he also tweeted to me once, it was magical. I missed him last year at the Aladdin (work) and I want to go SO BAD this year.
