About Gov't Mule
Balancing evocative songs and expressive improvisation, Gov't Mule is a band rooted in both the personal and musical chemistry between its members, and they return to the Crystal in the wake of their 2009 release, By A Thread.

Prepare yourself for a night of soulful songwriting and gut-level jams!

ABOUT BY A THREAD: With 2 million paid song downloads through their site MuleTracks, seven critically acclaimed studio records already released, a handful of DVDs and live albums, plus an ever-expanding fanbase and sold-out coast-to-coast tours, Gov't Mule could easily rest on its laurels.

Yet when you're in one of the hardest working bands in rock history, pushing yourself to greater heights always supersedes cashing in on past successes. Read more here…

I need to feel lucky and you can help me.
I don’t enter your contests unless I really will go and enjoy the show.
I hear the Crystal now allows In and Out privleges and I’ve been staying away because I am still a cigarette smoker so I’d like to try them out again.
I am rebounding from my recent decision to bail on the Atlantic City Phish shows.

Oh please please, pick me! My husband and I love Gov’t Mule.

    Soulshine is my favorite song:
    …He used to say soulshine,
    It’s better than sunshine,
    It’s better than moonshine,
    Damn sure better than rain.
    Hey now people don’t mind,
We all get this way sometimes,
Got to let your soul shine,
Shine till the break of day…

    Thank you <3

  19. Fraser October 28, 2010 at 11:20 #

He lights up the night like fireworks after dark… I love the guitar of the man Warren Haynes, yes he’s out here with his amazing lion mane, he comes so rocking hard, but sometimes he plays such sweetness on his guitar. He shares the wisdom and passion that fuels my fire. Trouble in the valley, refuse to rumble in the alley. You wouldn’t believe the shape I’m in. Trucking up for some healing, need to ring the bell….

  20. Roddy Jasa October 28, 2010 at 12:51 #

Would love to see them live. PLease

  21. Geoff October 28, 2010 at 12:54 #

I have been interested in and involved in the jam music scene for several years not but have not had a chance to see any of my personal favorites (Gov’t Mule, The Dead, SCI, Phish etc…) and this happens to be one of the best touring jam bands that I would love to see. Hope to see you there!

    Dear Reviewer,

I remember the first time I heard Government Mule in 2000. My best friend Indio showed me the music and I was forever a fan. I’m a full time musician, the biggest fans of music are, and I still have not been able to be part of the Government Mule live show. Warren and the boys help me write, play, and believe in rock n’ roll and share it with the world. Warren inspires me to stay strong and play with as many musicians as possible and keep the dream alive!

I have never been able to see Warren: wrong place/wrong time; but tonight can be different. Please keep me inspired and share the power of this show for the rest of my life!

    Here’s to living the dream,

    Adam

  27. Jordan October 28, 2010 at 13:54 #

Because Warren Haynes and the Mule have been keeping the blues, classic rock, and pure, unfiltered music alive for many years. Would be an honor to spend another great evening with them…and I’m headed out of town tomorrow. This would really send me off the right way!

  28. VICTORIA October 28, 2010 at 14:03 #

gov’t mule. my boyfriend is a huge fan – would absolutely make his week – and as a result, mine ; )

    pick me!

  29. Adam October 28, 2010 at 14:14 #

    Dear Reviewer,

I first heard Warren and Government Mule in 2000 (when I still couldn’t get into 21+ clubs). As a full time musician I have since been inspired by the stripped down, back to the roots sound of Warren and the boys.

I have never been able to see Government Mule (money, wrong place/wrong time). But I’m hoping and wishing that you will help me see them live, and bring that to my music and inspire for years to come!

    Humbly,

    Adam

  30. Jordan October 28, 2010 at 14:22 #

Warren Haynes is one of the most important musicians of the last 20 years – easy. This would be the perfect way to start some time off of work!
