GAME 10: Blazers @ Oklahoma City Thunder
November 12, 6:30PM; ESPN
Portland Trail Blazers Schedule here
A bounce back win Tuesday night puts the Blazers at 6-3 for the season. They start a 3 game road trip Friday night in Oklahoma City. The Blazers will be out for blood after the Thunder stole one at the Rose Garden in overtime.
The Thunder will most likely be less Jeff Green, who is out with an ankle injury. With Serge Ibaka has been starting in his place, Green's injury makes the Thunder's starting 5 ridiculously big. With Durant (6' 9″), Kristic (7'), Ibaka (6' 10″), Sefolosha (6' 7″) and Westbrook (only 6' 3″, but he rebounds like a boss), the Thunder have enough size to give the Blazers problems.
Tuesday night we saw Nate McMillan bend to Brandon Roy's demands and reduce his minutes (only 21 for Roy). I expect Roy to see closer to 28-30 minutes Friday night in Oklahoma City. Roy having his role nearly cut in half allowed Spaniard Rudy Fernandez to see extended minutes for the first time this season. Fernandez was his usual self: 2.3 excellent plays, a countless number of gambles on defense and 1.7 errant passes.
The Thunder on paper.
Starting five: Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, Thabo Sefolosha, Serge Ibaka, Nenad Kristic
Off the bench: Cole Aldrich, James Harden, Daequan Cook, Eric Maynor
MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
Brandon Roy has now expressed concern over his surgically repaired knee multiple times. Jason Quick reports his knee has had fluid drained from it twice already in this young season. He is seeking a 2nd opinion from orthopedist Neal ElAttrache.
Kevin Durant has come a long way since the NBA combine.
STRATEGY
The Blazers are going to need the 2nd unit to match and/or exceed the energy they had Tuesday night against the pistons. Crash the boards. Box out Westbrook.
LET'S GET RICH
To date: 3-3-1.
no line was available when this was put together.
TRADE ME
Rudy Fernandez.
BOTTOM LINE
The Blazers will fly to New Orleans after this game to face Monty Williams and his 7-0 Hornets. At this point, any win on this 3 game road swing would be great.

I would love to go to this game. Tickets please!
November 11, 2010 at 13:43
I think we have plenty of players who can step up, but Brandon’s leadership is hard to replace.
November 11, 2010 at 13:50
less brandon means more rudy?
November 11, 2010 at 13:55
They’ll be fine. The team has immense talent and depth on the wing. It’s always nice to have a superstar to close down games but the team often becomes too Brandoncentric. This will put the onus on Aldridge to produce at the highest level he’s capable of and free up time to develop young talents like Matthews and Batum, all of which will be better for the team in the long run. You want those guys to have as much seasoning as possible come playoff time.
November 11, 2010 at 13:59
If Roy is not full strength, more minutes to Rudy and Matthews will only help, and hopefully get those players into a rhythm off the bench.
November 11, 2010 at 14:05
Reducing Roy’s minutes will allow the Blazers not only to rest and hopefully recuperate Brandon’s knees, but also give more time to Rudy and Wes, both of whom can operate at a faster pace. Imagine a starting lineup of Andre, Rudy, Nico, LaMarcus, and Marcus coming out the gates at full speed, attacking the defense and just destroying on fast breaks. These guys are all gazelles, and Roy is emphatically not. If reducing minutes can make Roy more efficient when he IS on the court, it can also optimize the strengths of the rest of the team.
November 11, 2010 at 14:08
My vote goes to Andre and Nicolas  two very talented players that can make a difference!
November 11, 2010 at 14:09
Less minutes from Brandon Roy means everyone else will get the chance to step up and shine! The Blazers response will simply be a WIN! I’d love to take my friend to this game as a surprise because it’s his birthday! I hope I win. :)
November 11, 2010 at 14:28
There are two ways you could respond to this question from the way it is written. However, I think the Blazers (team-wise) know they need to step it up a few notches and not rely on Brandon always being there for that “last second perfect shot”. We saw that done in aces during the Pistons game on Tuesday. Rudy even seemed to be enjoying himself as he dished shots to his team-mates and took a few himself. With Cunningham driving to the basket and LA really taking control under the boards, they played like a team possessed and anxious to prove that they aren’t just Brandon Roys back-up players.
November 11, 2010 at 14:29
The Blazers will just have to step up their game. Work our bench player. Everyone has to know their role and be strong at it. I’d love to see the Blazers smoke OKC! Only thing good from OKC is Julian C.
November 11, 2010 at 14:43
LaMarcus is the man this year! Put the team on his shoulders! Plus, with Brandon seeing less time, Nicolas, Wesley and Rudy will get more chances to shine. Hopefully they take advantage.
November 11, 2010 at 14:43
Less Brandon Roy minutes will give Wesley Matthews a new chance to find his offensive rhythm and become more of an impact player off the bench for the Blazers.
This might even open up doors for him to make a run at Sixth Man of the Year.
November 11, 2010 at 14:50
an increase in johnson’s minutes. he shows the same fearlessness that bayless did
November 11, 2010 at 15:00
Both Andre and Rudy are going to have to pick up their games and maximize their opportunities. By posting Rudy on a wing and then running the pick and roll to the other side of the lane with Andre and LA, it’ll give Andre the opportunity to drive and play underneath (which he often does well for a smallish PG), and give LA a regular look from about 8′-12′. Then when it gets kicked back outside to Rudy, he’s going to have to knock ‘em down, but ~30% isn’t going to cut it. He’s been asking for the shots, and at times he’s hit them; now it’s time to step up and show Nate (or other franchises, if you’d prefer that perspective) that he’s capable of coming through regularly, when it counts.

If Brandon can’t play as much, that means Rudy will need to step up and prove he is worth all the headaches he has been causing us this offseason!
November 11, 2010 at 17:01
Definitely more minutes and more touches for Rudy…we love Rudy!
November 11, 2010 at 17:05
It will allow all the Blazers to step up and fill the void. They know leaning on Roy down the stretch won’t be an option. There is plenty of talent on this team that the energy can be spread between. Hope I get to go watch it happen.
November 11, 2010 at 17:42
The Blazer’s bench will have to step it up. Batum has been looking good from beyond the arc, and Aldridge can really carry the team when he’s on his A game.
November 11, 2010 at 18:42
They will respond they way they did last year when nearly the whole damn team was injured- they will pull together and play harder and win!
November 11, 2010 at 18:46
It means we gonna get more Rudy BOOTY!!!
November 11, 2010 at 18:48
I think Rudy Fernandez will get more playing time which will suit him better, as will Wesley Matthews. When Brandon’s in the game, he’ll play better with reduced minutes.
November 11, 2010 at 18:59
I think Andre Miller will step up and provide the leadership that his experience affords. Go zers!
November 11, 2010 at 19:02
Less Brandon means the new guys will have to step up. More Armon Johnson and Wesley Matthews. These guys could be something special.
(and it would be really nice to see it in person)
November 11, 2010 at 19:03
Roy’s leadership, overall scoring & clutch baskets will be missed, but the underrated depth of the Blazers bench is what will carry them beyond Roy’s reduced minutes and through the season. It’s what makes the Blazers so dangerous, that the rest of the league underestimates their 2nd & even 3rd units off the bench. GO BLAZERS!!!!
November 11, 2010 at 19:03
I think with Roy getting less minutes, it allows the younger guys to get some good quality minutes that will be valuable later in the season.
November 11, 2010 at 19:05
Not sure how they’ll respond, but with teams showing the Heat that it doesn’t take a team of super stars in order to win- or beat them, for that matter- hopefully the blazers figure out a way to bounce back. BTW, I’d love to see this game!
November 11, 2010 at 19:05
With a decent core like miller and aldridge, blazers should be fine with Roy playing less (just have him in in the 4th!) We’ll just have to rely more on the 2nd string matthews and rudy. They should be able to provide decent minutes.
November 11, 2010 at 19:06
our true team leaders andre miller and marcus camby put the team on their backs.
…or there’s always this:

November 11, 2010 at 19:53
Put Chris Dudley in, he’s all riled up.
November 11, 2010 at 20:06
It would be great to be able to take my son to a game.
November 11, 2010 at 20:10
there will be needless suffering….
November 11, 2010 at 20:11
Two words: Baaatuuuuuuumm shaaakalakaaaaa!!!
November 11, 2010 at 20:12
i think there will be grumblers like always but the true supporters of not only Brandon Roy, the Trailblazers and RIP CITY UPRISE will support the team through this adjustment!
November 11, 2010 at 20:12
I have no clue but they better figure something out so we can have a good season! PS please give me tix for the game! I would be ecstatic!
November 11, 2010 at 20:14
Roy’s reduced playing time will translate into more minutes for Rudy Fernandez.
November 11, 2010 at 20:16
They’ll put Rudy and the gang out there and do great!!
November 11, 2010 at 20:18
Give him rest at the end of quarters, hopefully giving him more minutes of rest.
November 11, 2010 at 20:19
Blazers seem to come through even when the biggest names are on the injured list. Reduced time for Roy means more time for the rest to shine.
November 11, 2010 at 20:21
The team will step up and be fine because they know that a team member needs to lower their mins in the game. I would love to take my husband to this game to spend time with him.
November 11, 2010 at 20:26
The Blazers will step it up some lock-down D, and open it up more with Brandon not around to run the floor – just as they did on Tuesday against the Pistons and many times last season while he was out. When Brandon is on, he’s hard to top, but the dimension of this team changes in a way that I personally think is more suitable to the talents of the other 13-14 players out there. Frankly, I find this team more fun to watch without iso play after iso play for Mr. Roy. And we’ll have the THRILLA back in just a few weeks!
November 11, 2010 at 20:33
The blazers will do just fine if I’m at the game! Rip City!
November 11, 2010 at 20:34
They will give increased minutes it to a player who deserves it, I’m sure.
November 11, 2010 at 20:41
A rotating cast of guys will step up in stints to allow Roy to rest his knee. Rudy one night, Armon the next, then Wes a few nights and Batum Aldridge will continue scoring at a torrid pace. This will help immensely with team cohesion and letting guys know where they need to be productive and how. Overall – a positive. Yep!
November 11, 2010 at 20:41
I don’t know the answer but I would love to go to this game!
November 11, 2010 at 20:41
Less Roy quantity means more quality Roy- go for it!
November 11, 2010 at 20:56
Just leave it to L.A. to blaze those nuggets!
November 11, 2010 at 21:05
In a season that began with plenty of questions, this team continues down an unpaved road. Right now I’m hoping that Pryz, Oden and Roy have drastically reduced minutes for the first half of the season and get worked in the second half to larger roles. There is no gain for this team in overworking any of these guys, and there is real depth to this team. Even with reduced roles for all three guys, this conference is weak enough to walk in to the playoffs. Hopefully, at that point the Blazers can bring it.
November 11, 2010 at 21:07
we will still rock it!
November 11, 2010 at 21:08
They will respond with less wins.
November 11, 2010 at 21:12
this
November 11, 2010 at 21:14
I’ve seen this team play well when Brandon couldn’t play full strength. Does anyone else think this is the season for Batum to step up and become the big time player that he could be?
November 11, 2010 at 21:20
They will still rock and roll
November 11, 2010 at 21:33
Less Roy = More Rudy
November 11, 2010 at 21:47
Less Brandon, more time for the rest of the players to get time in and pick up their games/minutes. The big guys all need to get more rest to help avoid more injuries – the others will be able to pick up any slack and get more experience of coming in off the bench really ready to play and make a difference.
November 11, 2010 at 21:50
What I hope it means is that he’ll come back as strong as ever… Brandon’s my boy… but I’m always glad to see the other players too, can’t make them anything but better to play more, right?
November 11, 2010 at 21:50
Honestly, it’s better that Roy cut back now so he doesn’t get burnt out mid season… Mixing it up with the other players has been working pretty well for us tempo wise, we need to figure out all of the team dynamic. Plus pryzbilla is back soon then oden to follow, even with reduced minutes for Roy, things are looking up
November 11, 2010 at 21:55
More minutes for Rudy Fernandez
November 11, 2010 at 22:00
Being the go to guy Brandon Roy undoubtedly elevates the level of play of his supporting cast. Minimizing Brandon’s minutes early in the season is good for a few reasons. First, cutting back on minutes will allow for players like Wesley Matthews, Armon Johnson, and yes, the player who some fans in Portland aren’t too happy with, Rudy Fernandez, to refine their games and gel together as a solid unit.. Increased minutes for these guys not only boosts confidence, but gives Brandon the rest needed for the long season ahead. Brandon is 24th in the league in minutes played, averaging 36.9 a game, and with such a long season the Blazers can’t risk injury this early. He’ll get his minutes in, he’s an all-star. Nothing to worry about!
November 11, 2010 at 22:20
In for tickets. Roy clearly doesn’t have the expolosiveness and we can’t be leaving big shots in his hands right now. If you saw the end of the last OKC game (regulation) you saw how an unhealthy Roy can hurt this team. Let him rehab and in the meantime give the ball to more capable hands.
November 11, 2010 at 22:44
Isn’t it true that everyone with the last name Roy, who has one the R.O.Y. award, has lead his team to a championship? I think Roy from the old USA television show Wings told me that once. I’m gonna go watch some Wings. OMG Joe and Brian!
November 11, 2010 at 22:48
Just Like Last Year … Not A problem sit him out a few games….
November 11, 2010 at 23:09
Roy’s absence will hurt but there’s no better time for the remainders to make their presence known as Blazer badasses.
November 11, 2010 at 23:52
More time for Rudy and Matthews and more variety in the offense! And me cheering in the stands…please, please, please!
November 12, 2010 at 01:00
They can do it by keeping the other team guessing who will step up. Since there’s one less go to guy, they will be able to play looser, the other team will have to adapt.
November 12, 2010 at 01:48
I think you’re dead on here. Would love to see Wes click on offense.
November 12, 2010 at 01:50
Rudy starting sounds like a night terror to me.
November 12, 2010 at 01:53
Roy will still be on the court when it counts.
November 12, 2010 at 01:56
Forward that to Rich.Cho@blazers.com
November 12, 2010 at 01:59
What about home court advantage in the first 2 rounds?
November 12, 2010 at 06:50
The team has shown that they are able to step up, thus far, when Roy isn’t on the court! It will help to ensure that he is healthy for the playoffs, when he will definitely be needed! But, I could take my kids to a game and see what they think ;)
November 12, 2010 at 08:15
With increased minutes for Mathews and Fernandez thereby increasing the cohesion and flow of the benches play and the unity of the team overall.
November 12, 2010 at 08:26
I think they will do just fine. The rest of the team need to work together and step it up.
November 12, 2010 at 08:31
More Rudy!!!!!!
November 12, 2010 at 08:38
They’ll be fine, Wesley will take over and add some much-needed energy to the team. Go Blazers!
November 12, 2010 at 08:42
Just moved to Portland this year, and working on my love for the Blazers! Tickets, please!
November 12, 2010 at 08:55
The team just needs to pull together and work on plays without Roy. One person can’t carry the team, and we have plenty of other talented players who are doing great things. As someone else said though, Roy’s leadership is what will be missed and hardest to replace. Tickets pretty please?
November 12, 2010 at 09:15
I do think positively about this. First it takes guts for a guy to make his limitations very visible so that he doesnt handicap the team when they expect him to shoulder things. This will only make the team better and give others, Rudy in particular, the playing time he needs to keep sharp and give Roy the rest needed and to make the plays we have come to expect. Its Rise with us, not rise with Roy…its about the team and no longer running isolation plays for Roy will keeep the whole team involved.
Rip City Baby,
Jon
November 12, 2010 at 09:22
We would to go!
My fiancee and I have not been to a game together and neither of us have been for a long time.
PLEASE PICK US!!!!
November 12, 2010 at 09:30
blazers all the way.
November 12, 2010 at 09:48
With B-Roy getting reduced minutes, the Blazers will step up and fill in the scoring Brandon produced. I believe this is a good step for all involved, but particularly for Batum and Matthews, who will have extra time to develop their offensive and defensive potential. Also look to Rudy to prove his worth for a mid-season trade.
November 12, 2010 at 09:49
we’ve got lots of weapons, so we should use them to ensure the longevity of Roy.
November 12, 2010 at 09:54
Less time for Roy will mean more time for Rudy.
November 12, 2010 at 09:56
Increase Fernandez’s minutes!
(We would LOVE to go to this game!)
November 12, 2010 at 09:57
I think without Brandon on the court, they will look at him on the bench and see that million-dollar smile of his. When they see that million-dollar smile, they will start dunking and alley-ooping and blocking shots and making 3 pointers and getting the crowd into it and we should also have a show at halftime where they use those t-shirt cannons to shoot giant hotdogs into people’s mouths.
November 12, 2010 at 10:13
I would love to win the tickets and be able to go to the game!
November 12, 2010 at 10:40
Please….I want to go so baddddddd….muaw! ;)
November 12, 2010 at 10:45
I think that history has shown that the Blazers can perform under many circumstances, including the loss of key players to injuries. We only have to look as far back as last year when they won 54 games while suffering over 250 lost man games to injuries, to key players!
I think that reduced minutes for Roy also bodes well for the long term success of the team so that he can be around longer to provide productive play as well as excellent leadership.
Go Blaze!!
November 12, 2010 at 11:06
More minutes to follow PDXPipeline with less Brandon Roy time!
November 12, 2010 at 11:20
So…I just found out that I like basketball about one week ago. It would be great to keep those sporty feelings going with some live b-ball action. In short, I have no idea what reduced minutes means, but if the Blazers have the ability to bend time, I’m sure they’ll be fine.
November 12, 2010 at 11:44
The Blazers know how to step up. We dealt with this alllll last season, it’s par for the course and we will continue to excel.
November 12, 2010 at 11:51
The Blazers will have to adjust and get other players to step up! Teams cannot rely on one player to win games. It should always be a “team” effort!
November 12, 2010 at 11:57
More RUDY!!! More craziness!
November 12, 2010 at 12:02
If Brandon is sitting then Andre will be sweating a little more. Rudy, Matthews and Johnson will have to step up as well.
There’s not a lot of mystery with OKC. Focus on Durant with a good defender. Maybe Matthews can help there but Portland just can’t seem to get the mix right with these guys and we usually end up losing. If we can crack the code we’ll be much better off the rest of this season.
good luck blazers.
thanks for the free tickets. i’m gonna win.
November 12, 2010 at 12:30
Get Rudy in the flow!
November 12, 2010 at 12:51
How will the Blazers respond with reduced minutes for Brandon Roy? That question has already begun to be answered as Roy played just 21 minutes in the Tuesday night drubbing of lowly Detroit.
I’m actually wondering how will the team will respond against tougher opponents while Roy’s in the game playing with reduced effectiveness, let alone reduced minutes. How will the coaching staff make intelligent adjustments and use the roster most effectively as the season progresses? Will they put more faith in the bench and role players and put them in positions to help the team win, or will they depend too much on Roy going one-on-one to get points, as they have done in the past?
Perhaps the Blazers should take a lesson from the San Francisco Giants, who just won the World Series by masterfully utilizing the right players (most of whom were not “starsâ€ÂÂ) at the right time, and in the process not even including their highest paid player, Barry Zito, who had been ineffective for part of the season, on the postseason roster. By comparison, perhaps Brandon Roy should be taking a break now if it’s really true that he needs so much “rest.†I wonder how much he is helping the team as he insists that he is “okay†while at the same time clearly not himself?
We’ll get a better chance to see how the team handles Roy’s reduced minutes and/or effectiveness starting tonight as they begin a three-game road trip tonight at Oklahoma City. After flying on to New Orleans to face the undefeated Hornets tomorrow night and then Memphis Tuesday, by the time next Thursday comes around and the Blazers host Denver we’ll all hopefully have a much better idea as to the extent of Roy’s knee issues and how the team works around them.
Perhaps the diagnosis and prognosis due next week will be such that we can expect Roy’s now-missing quick-burst first-step speed and power to return soon if he just keeps playing (but not “too muchâ€ÂÂ). It’s an open question whether his simply continuing to play, at a reduced level, will be a successful prescription to get him back to full strength. We have seen that he is generally reluctant to disclose the full details of how he’s feeling when all appearances are that he’s not right. If his current line of “I’m OK, I just need to play less and ‘rest’ my knees more” continues to hold the team hostage (remember his “I need the ball more†statement in the preseason?), the Blazers may be insufficiently prepared to effectively deal with the dangerous Nuggets, to say nothing of the rest of the league, and, worse yet, Roy may risk “real†injury. But I’m anxious to get the news from the doctor before going down that road full throttle.
Obviously the Blazer franchise puts a lot of emphasis on Brandon Roy. Yes, he’s the face of the franchise today, but things can and do change rapidly in sports when “unsung†players emerge and make contributions. For my money (or for my free tickets, should I be chosen) I’d rather have hungry and healthy reserves in the game than unhealthy superstars who are afraid to go all-out and aggravate their injuries (or whatever you want to call them). Not saying this is B. Roy, just that I hope it isn’t.
November 12, 2010 at 14:03
It is obvious that B Roy is not 100%. We are deep at the wing, so let the young guys get some minutes and let Roy rest up for the the playoff run
November 12, 2010 at 14:04
I think that if a player wants reduced min., then he should get them, however I think he should then suffer the consequences. Just like for the rest of us working in the non professional sports area, if we take sick time, if we don’t perform as expected, if we take time off we pay the price, either leave without pay or we have a certain amount of time we can use. I think professional athletes should also have to play by the same rules as the rest of us. Their salary sure as heck can afford to be reduced anyway, so why not hold them accountable to the same standards as everyone else who is “working.”
November 12, 2010 at 14:19
Probably develop a running game. Camby, Aldridge, Batum, Miller. Fast break baby…
November 12, 2010 at 14:46
Less Brandon Roy? This is a blessing!!! The Blazers need to learn how to play without the all star that doesn’t act like an all star. He’s good, but needs to grow up and work on his all star game to become a franchiser.
The Blazers will be fine. Look at what they did last season when he was benched with an injury. Won. Andre Miller scored over 50 in one game. Of course, the playoffs are a different story. No one on that team is playoff ready. But that’s another story.
Go Blazers!
November 12, 2010 at 15:17
But in all reality, the real question is, How will the rest of the NBA respond to this? My answer: they will understand how weak this team is when they realize a 26 year old all star first round draft pick decides he needs to play less. Softies.
November 12, 2010 at 15:21
Although less minutes from Roy is troubling for any Portland Trail Blazer fan we have a deep bench with a lot of depth.
Think of our players as a financial portfolio. We’ve been steady diversifying our portfolio for times like these. When one of our investments takes a hit, we have spread the risk across multiple investments to ensure a profitable return.
Droppin’ that university knowledge son.
PORTLAND STAND UP!

Only Roy knows best as to how well he can play or how much better his team mates can play on his behalf. He has always been a team player, that is what I love about him, so lets support his request and encourage the rest of the team to rally together in support as well. If the others want the win as badly as Roy, they will kick ass and make it happen.
RISE!

Reduced minutes for B-Roy will be good for the team. It will give Aldridge a chance to shine even more and Miller is more reliable anyway. I think we should trade B-Roy for whoever we can get for him. He is a good player, but not the star we are making him out to be.

Witness the Rise of Batum!!

PS– Please pick me. :)
November 13, 2010 at 11:37
BATUUUUUUUUMMMMM! Batum has already started stepping it up — he’s practically better than BRoy — and Aldridge is going to have his best season yet!

This will have a twofold effect: 1) The rest of the team will learn to play together and overall have a stronger effect and 2) Brandon will realize no one will miss him.

they won’t they’ll lose every game. they rely solely on roy’s talent the rest suck. i hate basketball. but my boyfriend sure loves it. so i try to understand. :)
November 13, 2010 at 16:16
Count me in – We’ve got a fantastic looking bench, so I’m not worried.
November 13, 2010 at 16:36
Well Miller will still be throwin ally-oops up for days, LA can step up to receive those while Rudy will step up and finally get the minutes he has been craving! More playing time for Rudy means more likely to keep his talent with the NBA- SHWING.
November 13, 2010 at 17:08
They will pull together and put everyone’s talent and skill to full use. Team play.
November 14, 2010 at 07:47
our bench IS looking better and better. Matthews and Fernandez have been huge off the bench players lately, and i feel like the more game time they see the better they, and subsequently, the blazers will be in the rest of the season.
And when Pryzbilla comes back it will be a huge boost for everyones moral and, of course, our defense.
its only gonna better from here.
November 14, 2010 at 11:22
The blazers line up seems like it’ll do just fine without Roy.
November 14, 2010 at 12:02
The bench needs to step up!! Wes Matthews and Rudy Especially!
The “Mykar” portion of my name used to see games back at the Mem. Col when his mom worked there when he was a kid. The mania has not diminished only becomes manic at times…
Thanks the “deb” of the duo.

brandon roy is portlands best player. they should give him some time to heal, and only use him when they need him most. especially after last nights game in the 3rd quarter when he was limping off the court. GO BLAZERS!!!

Have Andre Miller run the floor!
November 15, 2010 at 14:42
More time for Wesley Matthews to show his stuff!
November 15, 2010 at 16:43
better quality of life and job satisfaction for the other players…?!
November 16, 2010 at 11:06
i need a good free date and i like squeaky basketball shoes.
November 16, 2010 at 12:31
I kind of think that Broy hasn’t been what people make him out to be. I sense it in a lot of the guys, either a lack of confidence in there ability, or an over confidence which is placed on them from people puffing them up.
I think that Andre Miller and Camby are definitely the leaders that this team needs, and having Joel back won’t hurt either.
November 16, 2010 at 12:32
and, i missed it. Hmm… how do I win Denver tickets?

I think Brandon Roy is trying to do everything he can for his team. Everyone is putting way too much pressure on him, he needs a break especially after his knee injury! Bottom point the rest of them need to STEP UP!
