November 15, 2010 at 19:23
are you kidding me ? some of the best beer and food in p-town ? what more could a gal ask for ? :))
November 15, 2010 at 19:27
My husband has tried to lure me to dark side with beer. I told him I’m a wine drinker through and through. To be honest, I’ve been a little curious about the whole beer scene. I would love to take my girlfriend and find out. Don’t tell my husband.
November 15, 2010 at 19:35
My wife and I moved to Portland for the beer and food. Would love to see what they create and pair with the beer.
November 15, 2010 at 19:59
I should win. I love Ninkasi Brewing so much that I still drink their beer, even after twisting my ankle falling down their accessibility ramp. I was sober, by the way. Just sayin’.
November 15, 2010 at 20:02
Not only are my husband and I lovers of food and beer, we love to give chef’s feedback and have a good conversation to explore the creativity behind the dish. Pair this with a chance to support United Way, and it’s a night we would throughly enjoy.
November 15, 2010 at 20:03
Oh… and Hotel Monaco is where we spent our wedding night, just six months ago..
November 15, 2010 at 20:14
I like beer and food.
November 15, 2010 at 20:33
I just moved here and want to experience the great food/beer Portland has to offer.
November 15, 2010 at 20:51
Sounds like a perfect way to spend the evening to me!
November 15, 2010 at 21:02
I’ve got a friend coming to town this weekend–this would be a great event to take her to!!! Sounds awesome.
November 15, 2010 at 21:05
I’d like to help raise funds for United Way and vote on the Monaco cup.
Thanks
November 15, 2010 at 21:08

November 15, 2010 at 21:45
Anything having to do with the Monaco is love.
November 15, 2010 at 22:26
Because food and beer is my favorite!
November 15, 2010 at 23:44
Would be an awesome food and beverage experience leading into the holiday week, especially since my hubby and I won’t be spending Thanksgiving together.
November 16, 2010 at 02:12
Beer and food.
I’m in the mood.
To see the chefs unite,
as they put up a fight,
would really be alright,
and make for a great night.
November 16, 2010 at 08:57
Food, beer tasting, and a good cause..this sounds like a great weekend event and I’d love to attend!
November 16, 2010 at 09:40
Charity paired with awesome beer and food? Isn’t that why we all live in Portland?! Yum, sounds like a great event for a great organization. Sign me up!
November 16, 2010 at 12:03
I’m so bad a pairing beer and food, and I love them both, so I could use a primer. Plus, I could donate the entire cost of the tickets to United Way, instead of having some go to overhead.
November 16, 2010 at 12:37
Cool. I just was in the Monaco for the first time, would love to see it during an event. Also I am hungry (and thirsty).
November 16, 2010 at 16:01
Food + Beer + Free Tickets = Happy Me
November 16, 2010 at 18:23
Oh this sounds like a fabulous idea! I’ve been to a few in my old home town of San Diego (another fine beer town) and know it will rock here in PDX as well.
November 16, 2010 at 19:32
This sounds delightful!!
November 16, 2010 at 22:19
This event sounds great…I’d love to taste what these brewers end up pairing with the food from these great chefs!
November 17, 2010 at 10:59
I’d love to indulge at this event and see how some of the top chefs in town pair their creations with some of my favorite breweries. My boyfriend and I are very much into food and beer. He just graduated from Le Cordon Bleu and is the assistant to the pastry chef at Wildwood and we have our own brewing equipment we play with. It’d be nice to learn some new taste combinations and pairings while getting the opportunity to support his chef. This is also a great way to show our support for the United Way while experiencing an exciting competition.
November 17, 2010 at 11:02
Considering I gave my tickets away to the NW Wine and Food festival I should totally get these tickets.
November 17, 2010 at 18:39
Beer and food together, showing themselves off!??! That sounds like heaven to me!
November 17, 2010 at 22:07
This is my beer loving husband’s birthday. I would be a hero if I won tickets to this event! We are fans of all the restaurants listed.
November 18, 2010 at 03:14
I love food and beer. I hope I win.
November 18, 2010 at 09:45
I don’t often admit this, but I have a guilty pleasure for reality show chef competitions, so this event would be like stepping into my TV. I would take my role as a “judge” very seriously…maybe even come up with a catch phrase.

I have a friend visiting from the mid-west, who keeps telling me how much Portland sucks. Sunday (11/21) is his birthday, and I’d LOVE to take him to the Portland Beer & Food Chef Competition and finally change his mind about this place.
November 18, 2010 at 14:37
This sounds like a great event, combining beer, food and a good cause – allowing us to indulge and feel totally good about it! I would love to win these tix – thanks for making the available!

November 18, 2010 at 15:55
Hello,
I would really love to get these tickets so that me and my husband could have a date with a little excitement in it. We really need to do something different because the romance is almost non existent these days. It seems we do the same sorts of things every time we get a chance to spend time together and we are both very bored. I know that probably sounds sad but its the truth. If we got these tickets perhaps it would help to get us to start thinking more outside the box for our date nights. At least a girl can dream….
November 18, 2010 at 15:56
Fantastic eats and Fantastic beers!! Where do I sign up?
oh yeah…right here.
November 18, 2010 at 16:00
If I told you that I like food AND beer, would you give me some tickets?
November 18, 2010 at 16:01
Beer Good.
Beer and food pairings better.

November 18, 2010 at 16:34
Why would I like to attend? What better way to enjoy a day predicted for snow?!
November 18, 2010 at 16:35
My boyfriend and I have had a hectic week and I think we could really benefit from slowing down and eating, say, 5 courses of amazing food. Maybe we want to get a little boozed up, too…
November 18, 2010 at 16:37
I would enjoy this VERY much, thank you
November 18, 2010 at 16:40
We are BIG fans of the Kimpton, beer and food !!!! this would be a match made in heaven

November 18, 2010 at 16:57
I’m traveling to Portland from Idaho to show a friend of mine (from Niagara Falls) just what Portland is all about: rich culture, delicious food, fabulous brews. He’s never had the opportunity to experience Portland (but is considering moving there from Idaho) and is a bleeding heart liberal who would love to attend a benefit for charity. We just might come whether or not you give us tickets. Sounds like an amazing (and delicious) night.
November 18, 2010 at 17:08
Oh wow! I’m new to Portland and this would be ana amazing way to sample new beers and new menus! So cool you guys do stuff like this!

I cannot think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Love that it benefits the United Way and I think it will be an amazing event.
November 18, 2010 at 18:00
“Filled with mingled cream and amber I will drain that glass again. Such hilarious visions clamber Through the chambers of my brain — Quaintest thoughts — queerest fancies Come to life and fade away; Who cares how time advances? I am drinking ale today.â€ÂÂ
mmmmmmmm…. I’m salivating just looking at these pairings, I would love to use my other senses: smell the aroma, feel the love, taste the food and hear me gettin in the mood!
November 18, 2010 at 18:10
Pick me because I pair well with 6 small plates and beer.

I’m a huge fan of craft beer, but I’m far from a foodie, and I’ve never experienced a special beer and food pairing, even after seeing such a thing years and years ago on the late Michael Jackson’s Beer Hunter series. I think it’s about time, which is why I’d like to win these tickets. Thanks!
November 19, 2010 at 07:45
I love food and beer and my husband loves beer and food
