Roc Nation's J.COLE Embarks On Cross-Country, 35-City Tour
Roc Nation artist, J.Cole, kicks off a collection of fall tour dates, beginning on Friday, October 1st in Normal, AL and concluding in New York City on December 5th. North Carolina native J.Cole is the first MC to be signed to JAY-Z's Roc Nation and has appeared on JAY-Z's "The Blueprint 3" on the aptly-titled track "A Star is Born." He recently rocked the stage at Yankees Stadium as part of JAY-Z and EMINEM's Home & Home Tour.
J.Cole's upcoming tour kicks off on the heels of his first official single, "Who Dat," which has been described as a "fiery diatribe about why he's hip-hop's next to blow" (USA Today). Entertainment Weekly describes the BB Gun directed video as "cleverly executed."
J.Cole fans can also see him performing on the upcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards, scheduled to air on October 12th, where he was nominated for "Rookie Of The Year" and will be heard on the upcoming EA SPORTS basketball game, NBA ELITE 11. J.Cole has teamed up with Grammy Award Winning Producer and DJ, 9th Wonder to create the soundtrack for the game, which will include the title track "The Plan" written and produced by J. Cole.
He was recently named the winner of this year's "Who's Got Next" Award at MTV2's Sucker Free Summit and was also dubbed a "Rising Icon" by BET. With his highly-anticipated debut album on the horizon, J. Cole has been touted as an "Artist to Watch in 2010" by publications such as Spin, XXL, Entertainment Weekly and industry bible, Billboard Magazine.

I am so in love with J. Cole, but I’m a college student with tons of loans and can’t afford to fork up the spare cash for a ticket. My best friend and I really want to go to this show, but unless we can get these tickets, I don’t see it happening…Please pick me!!!! I’m a huge fan!!!

My boyfriend was JUST telling me yesterday about this new rapper J. Cole and that he respects this guy’s talent. I don’t think he knows he has a show in Portland coming up, so if I were to score some tickets I’d basically be the world’s coolest girlfriend. ;)

id like to win these tickets for two reasons. one, ive known and followed j coles work longer then probably anybody in the NW, and two, i had to scramble to find a new job the last few weeks and i just dont have the money for the tickets when all my friends do. oh and just to throw it out there, id take a lady with me as well.

Just recently became a fan of jcoles, I love his soulful chrous mixed with his cleaver and witty lyrics and swag. I am a producer and emcee and if I win I will take my friend goodwill producer who introduced me to jcoles music! I don’t bombard famous artist with I’m trying to make it here’s my cd, I enjoy watching how they entertain and elevate their performances. Then taking some of thos skills and applying them to what I do! Good luck to others and stay warm my nw friends! Remember to work hard at what you do and never give up.

I’m gonna be real. Simple but real.
May not sound like I want the tickets, but I do.
I have all his music.
Im always on top of his shit when it gets released.
I have never seen anyone before in concert; this would be a golden oppurtunity.
I live close to where the concert will be held.
I’ve also have never won anything like this.
Biggest thing I’ve ever won was a parkrose broncos blanket at my senior all night party.
Today is Thanksgiving.. and i’d be most thankful if i won these tickets.
I think my reasons are pretty legit.

This would be the perfect setting to use for my term paper in Music Appreciation! Not only that, but I’m a die-hard Roc Nation supporter, Jigga is my dude, and every artist he’s ever picked up has found his or her way onto my Zune player! Oh, and my girlfriend would be blown away if I took her to this!
