The Portland holiday shopping season kicked off a couple weeks back in Portland with the Crafty Wonderland pop-ups. It increases dramatically this weekend and throughout December. "Holiday CRAVE-ings", A Shopping Event Supporting Local Female-Owned Businesses and Benefiting Girls, Inc.

CRAVE Portland announces its 2nd annual Holiday CRAVE-ings Extravaganza – a blockbuster holiday shopping event, featuring the best Portland women-owned boutiques, designers, and businesses. Attendees get a unique opportunity to shop the very best picks from all of Portland's hottest shops and designers, all in one location, all while enjoying fabulous food, festive cocktails and the hottest tunes courtesy of DJ Gemo Wong and special performance from internationally and nationally acclaimed singer and song writer, Liv Warfield. This groundbreaking, fashion-filled event sold out last year, and organizers expect this year's Holiday CRAVE-ings Extravaganza to set new records for success!

Holiday CRAVE-ings takes place on November 30, 2010 from 4-9pm, at Pure Space in Portland's Pearl District (1400 NW 15th Avenue). This fabulous and festive event will benefit Girls Inc., a non-profit organization committed to teaching girls to develop the confidence and self esteem they need to become strong, independent women.

Holiday CRAVE-ings kicks off with a VIP hour from 4-5 pm, sponsored by Girls, Inc. and NW Kids. The VIP event will include complimentary eats provided by Monsoon Cricket, special deals for VIP guests, and first dibs on the best picks from a bevy of perfect gift ideas.

All night long, guests will have the chance to browse a carefully curated selection of the best from Portland's favorite local boutiques and designers, including Shop Adorn, Ellington Bags, Gypsy Chic, Popina, and many more. Bridgeport Village will also be present and will feature many of your favorite big-name shops like Silverado, Mario's 3.10, and Lingerie Closet. With more than 30 shops on hand, you're sure to check off every last wish on your holiday list.

To keep that shopping energy at its peak, Holiday CRAVE-ings is thrilled to announce that the local legends at KOi Fusion will once again be on hand to serve up their famous Korean Fusion delicacies. Pravia Wines will be on tap too, doling out their signature sips to get everyone into the holiday spirit.

Bring the kids!! While guests shop 'til they drop, kids are welcome to experience their own brand of holiday cheer at the Kids' Corner at Holiday CRAVE-ings, where Portland urban playcare experts WeVillage will be providing a lounge space for the kiddos! And don't forget to strike a pose for Continuum Photography, who will be on hand to snap photos all night.
