Come witness the bouting debut of the next generation of RCR superstars as the newest members of Portland's four home teams play on two mixed teams.  On Friday night watch the newly drafted Guns N Rollers team up with High Rollers to make the Rolling Stoners, and they're taking on the Cherry City Derby Girls, a new squad from Salem.  The battle takes place at the Hangar at Oaks Park.  It's the first of two Rose City Roller bouts this action-packed weekend!
Parking will be free for this event! Please note, sitting alongside the track puts you within feet of the action and places you at higher risk of involvement in a skater collision. Arrive early enough to make seating arrangements you are comfortable with.
General admission tickets are $14.00, Rockstar guaranteed seating is $20.00

i would love to win those tickets, i am a huge fan of rollerderby.. plus me being a single mom and not getting to do much for myself is not very exciting this would be a awesome outing for me i have wanted to try it since i was little i even had my name picked out when i was a little girl .. my grandmother was in the roller derby back in the day i always that was so awesome. she described it as being free and having fun with other powerful and talented woman .. to who ever wins those tickets congrats and have a rockin time

I want to go Saturday night so badly because I’m having money issues and can’t afford tickets, and it’s been WAY too long since I last went to a bout. How I miss it so.

Help! Friday or Saturday! Before I moved to Portland, I lived with two roller girls in Nashville, Tennessee (GO NRG!). One of them was and is my girlfriend, who’s working on her master’s degree here at PSU now. She really wants to check out the newbie squad before she tries out for Rose City, but our dog needs his major eye surgery (batfacedog.blogspot.com) so we’re pretty strapped for cash. We’ve supported NFTDA teams for over three years now, and would love to cheer on the Rose City newbies!

I want to see Fresh Meat! I have a friend who’s a newbie High Roller and I want to scream “RAW FOOTAGE!” as I watch strong, sexy women skate like hell, knock each other around, and have great fun. Either Friday or Saturday — I don’t mind, as long as the High Rollers are skating.
