The Blazers are back at home after a disastrous 0-4 Eastern swing that featured losses to perennial NBA powers such as the Washington Wizards, New Jersey Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. The team is currently boasting a 6 game losing streak, and if you believe statistics, Ben Golliver points out that no team has ever made the playoffs after dropping six straight games. I'd like to add that I heard Colin Cowherd say on Sports Nation earlier this week that, “statistics are true until they're not.” Cowherd went to an intellectual level I simply do not have. I have no idea what that means. Just thought I'd pass it along.
The Blazers and Clippers played once already this year in Los Angeles, the Blazers were victorious, 98-88.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
- Coach Nate McMillan says the players “evidently are not responding” to him. Dwight Jaynes thinks the players might be trying to get him fired. Agree or disagree, I'm sure he would like you to go and yell about it in the comments. That is why he writes things like that, right?
- Rasual Butler had some trouble with Twitter last week.
- I've seen more Clipper games this year than I have in the last 10 combined. Now you know.
STRATEGY
Strategy is out the window at this point. The Blazers need to play better in the 2nd half.
