——————————————

Once again, the Blazers are playing their second game in as many days. This time in Phoenix, against the Suns.

The Blazers made it 3 in a row last night against the formidable Orlando Magic. The team flew to Phoenix right after the game for their 6:00 pm contest tonight. This will be the third time this year the Blazers and Suns have squared off, with the Blazers way out in front, up 2-0.

There's nothing new to report match-up wise, the Suns only really play on the offensive side of the ball. They lead the league in scoring, averaging 108.8 points per game (110.1 at home).

The Suns on paper.
Starting five: Grant Hill, Channing Frye, Earl Barron, Steve Nash, Jason Richardson
Off the bench: Hedo Turkoglu, Josh Childress, Haim Warrick, Jared Dudley, Groan Dragic

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES

  • Both teams are 11-11. The Suns have dropped two games in a row. Most recently, an overtime loss tot he Memphis Grizzlies. The Blazers play the Grizzlies on Monday.
  • Joel Pryzbilla and Marcus Camby saw limited action as the Blazers went small last night against the Magic. Could be the difference maker tonight.

STRATEGY
Dictate the pace of the game by controlling the glass. Out-rebound the Suns and the Blazers should win.
