Mt. Tabor Theater propositions a night of elegant shenanigans on December 18 with the 2010 PDX Family Masquerade Ball. Whether masqueraders decide to dress crazy, sassy or bold, masks-and-outfits will keep things mysterious. Entertainment this evening includes performances by funk masterminds, Reeble Jar, newly reunited Just People, and the fresh and enthralling DJ Mr. Wu, who was featured on KBOO’s “The Melting Pot” in August 2010.
Masqueraders will also be amazed by live painter, Dane Eisenbart; amused by a professional photo booth; and surprised by other specialties!

Reminder: We give out free tickets to our Portland Facebook Group including to many of the top music and art venues in Portland. Join it if you like free stuff. Not on Facebook? Join our email list and win there.

My lady has a sweet leather mask that she never gets to wear out. I bet she’d sure love to go to this!

I’ve wanted to go to a masquerade ball since i was a kid. Think the scene in the labryinth of the masked ball had that effect on me. Anyhow i would love to go even if david bowie won’t be attending ;-)

This sounds like so much fun! I love a reason to get dressed up and go out!

I’d like to attend because my mask is more awesome than anyone else’s. I made it with paint, papier-mache, and my own blood.
(Ok, I cut myself in the final stages, but my DNA is in there. It’s semi-spooky.)

I really want to go to this event so I can sing the “Masquerade” song from Phantom of the Opera all night.

I would absolutely LOVE to win a pair of tickets to the Portland Masquerade Ball This Saturday at the Mt Tabor Theater for my 21 year old daughter and a friend (maybe me!).
I have nothing at all to give her for Christmas, as it has been a really lousy year. She would be thrilled silly to attend a real Masquerade Ball! She would dress to the nines and be a very fun guest!

I have a missed connection I am trying to follow up on with a stunninly HOT guy. I met him at Branx several weeks ago & he flirted with me all night, staring deeply in my eyes everytime we spoke. The night was over & he sweetly asked for a kiss on the cheek on his way out the door. His friend suggested I come to this Masquerade & it’s the only lead I have in pursuing this sexy, sexy brown eyed hottie! The bummer is it’s been so slow at work, I don’t know how I’m gonna pay rent on the 1st, let alone do I have extra cash to buy a ticket to this awesome Masquerade. I’d really like a chance to find out where all that flirting might go~

PS. I have a real ‘cheeky’ head turner to wear Saturday. ;-}
