Message From FromTheMindOfAMadMan: This video was shot on Saturday, December 18th at Ringlers Pub at 1332 W Burnside in Portland.  Ringlers sits below the Crystal Ballroom and Lola's Room in this McMenamins property.  The video was shot between 3:00pm and 5:30pm, then condensed into a short 1.5 minute time lapse video.  Most of the video you see was sped up 10,000%! The gentleman in the lower left of the frame at about 57 seconds into the video stood perfectly still for 5 minutes to get the 7 seconds of him you see.

The Grindhouse Film Festival presents Silent Night, Deadly Night!

Hollywood Theatre
$7 | Advance tickets are here

It's a holiday tradition! On Wednesday December 22nd at 9:30 at the Hollywood Theatre, The Grindhouse Film Festival presents the annual screening of SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT!  A 35mm print of the 1984 Christmas classic about an axe-wielding psychopath dressed as Santa Claus.  This movie was originally released at Christmas time, then quickly pulled from theaters due to public outrage.

SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT (1984)
When a young boy's parents are murdered on Christmas Eve by a man dressed as Santa Claus, he develops a lifelong hatred of Old Saint Nick.  He then spends the rest of his childhood in an orphanage run by a mean overbearing nun.  As a grown man, he is finally pushed over the edge when he's forced to be a department store Santa.  Now as an axe wielding maniac in a Santa suit, he sets out to punish all who are naughty this Christmas Eve!  Classic scenes include the sledding beheading, the toy store montage, and crazy Grandpa terrifying little Billy with his tales of a rampaging killer Santa Claus.

Beer will be provided by Bridgeport Brewery. Advance tickets are on the website: www.grindhousefilmfest.com
