This is a dream come true! Wine! Food! An opportunity to spend ridiculous amounts of money at an auction!
    Is my enthusiasm showing?

  5. Michael December 31, 2010 at 08:00 #

This would be such a fun event to attend. I haven’t been able to get out to wine taste in a long time due to working too much. Pick me and you can know i’ll make sure two people, at least, have a great time via PDX Pipeline!

  6. Darryl December 31, 2010 at 08:21 #

Would love to go wine tasting

  7. Dave Taube December 31, 2010 at 08:26 #

Great food, great wine, all for a great cause. Proceeds from the event help buy medical insurance for migrant agricultural workers who can’t afford to buy it. The money I save from winning the tickets (I’m keeping my fingers crossed) will go towards buying items in the silent auction.

  8. Bc December 31, 2010 at 08:36 #

At last a north meets south civil party!

  9. Josh December 31, 2010 at 08:43 #

I would love to attend the event. What a perfect event to celebrate the beginning of the spring!

  10. Lisa December 31, 2010 at 08:57 #

Wow what a fabulous opportunity to experience new sensations in food and wine! When we were married in British Columbia we went on a wine tour and brought home so many bottles of wine and a wine barrel. Customs made us wait while they searched the barrel to ensure we were “sneaking” anything out! I would love the chance to attend and participate. Maybe we would win a return trip to BC! Yah! More wine!

  11. Bill Weismann December 31, 2010 at 09:12 #

This event is perfect timing. My girlfriend and I met downtown that same week, in 2010. This will be our first annirversary and we can return to the scene of the crime. We’ll raise our glasses and make a toast to Pdx Pipeline!

  12. dana r. December 31, 2010 at 09:13 #

  14. Teneka Stanley December 31, 2010 at 09:33 #

This event is very close to my boyfriend’s birthday. It would make a wonderful gift for our 5th year together! We have been beyond broke since moving across the country a few months ago & would relish the opportunity to have a real outing that we aren’t going to regret spending money on since we still need furniture. It sounds like an awesome event with lots of yummy treats that would be a great start to our first new year on the west coast! :)

  15. Eric December 31, 2010 at 09:37 #

    Why, because I’m PDX classy.

  16. Jenny December 31, 2010 at 09:40 #

What a great way to welcome spring … great food, great wine, we will have a great time!

  17. Miranda December 31, 2010 at 09:55 #

Of course I’m excited to try new beer and wine and enjoy local hors d’oeuvres (Screen Door! A Cena!), but I would REALLY love to pretend I am Little Miss Swanky-Pants and hit this gig up while dressed to the nines. Give us the tickets! Come say hi to us if you’re there – you won’t be able to miss us. Mr. Boyfriend has a burgundy velvet smoking jacket and one of us will be wearing a fez.

  18. Sharissa December 31, 2010 at 10:01 #

Love wine, love food, love them together even more! Also, it’s the first annual… I love first annual events :)

  19. Sarah December 31, 2010 at 10:06 #

Winning tickets to this would make my 2011. The event sounds amazing! Perfect place for a blossoming foodie to practice some appreciation. It’d be a welcome change from the PBR and terrible cooking that fills my day to day. The extra ticket might even make up for the christmas present I kind of failed on for the guy in my life. I’ll keep my fingers crosed.

  20. Christine December 31, 2010 at 10:19 #

    mmmm. yummy!

  21. Flex Rex December 31, 2010 at 10:27 #

Would like to go, but why is a Pear the West and a Wineglass the East? Someone has a poor sense of direction.

  22. Darcy B December 31, 2010 at 11:14 #

I would love to get dressed up to go to the Benson and experience new wineries, breweries, distilleries, and restaurants—I love the old glamor of the Benson!

  51. Kevin January 6, 2011 at 11:42 #

I would love love love to win this for my wife! As a current grad student, funds are limited to say the least, and I would love to treat my wife to two nights out to enjoy some of the best food and drinks Portland has to offer. She works hard every day as essentially a single mother to our 16 month old son, and is a huge foodie, so I know she would absolutely love to attend this event!

  52. Dave January 6, 2011 at 11:54 #

  112. Angel January 7, 2011 at 11:21 #

Wow, this event will happen the weekend right before my 30th birthday! What a wonderfully swanky, special birthday present this would be for me, especially since we’re saving for our wedding this year and I probably won’t be able to afford do much else at that time. So think of the karma you’ll get for giving me 2 presents in one (bday & wedding) ;)

  113. Erick January 7, 2011 at 11:24 #

Why would I want to win this? Who wouldn’t?! Sounds awesome!

  119. Jim January 8, 2011 at 20:55 #

You should pick me, because if you don’t I’m just going to sneak in anyway… You could show how much you care about our questionable police force by not having them waste their time arresting me and sending me to the clink…I’m just sayin…

  120. cleveland January 9, 2011 at 13:45 #

    Wine+Food= count me in!!!

  121. Emily January 12, 2011 at 12:23 #

I work at Portland Public Schools with kids that have behavioral problems, and needless to say, I dont bring home alot of money at the end of the month. This sounds like a super fun event that I would never be able to afford on my own. I would love the chance to attend this and take some much needed “me time”. Help a lady out :) thanks.

I have been dying to experience Portland. I have lived up here for 1 1/2 years and I have not had a chance to see, taste or feel Portland. I’m game for anything new. I am excited to see this cool new playground! Anything is worth trying! =)

What a great way to sample some great beer, wine and delicious food while supporting a great cause. I would love to attend the event!
