Vic Wooten is absolutely one of my favorite bassists of all time. I have seen him perform with the Flecktones many times but never solo. I would love to win tickets. Thanks for the opportunity! January 5, 2011 at 11:47
Awesome!!! This is exciting. If I had a bucket list, seeing him in concert would be way up there near the top. Victor Wooten was my original motivation for learning to play the bass. Is there any better reason to want to attend? :)
January 5, 2011 at 11:48
I am a huge fan of Victor’s music! I have never had the chance to see him play solo and I would love to go to this show and groove out. Thanks!

Five-Time Grammy Award Winner….enough said. Thanks!

Mississippi Studios is a great setting to see him. I have a coworker that I would want to take, that is borderline homeless right now. But he used to be big in the funk/jazz scene in Portland in the sixties, and then moved on to radio. He would be super excited to see this. As would I.

Victor Wooten! The eight arm man!! The Soul Circus!! Let the show begin!!!!
January 5, 2011 at 12:41

I would love to see this incredible show! I now live near Miss. Studios but have yet to take in a concert there. Seeing some slap-tastic bassin’ like only Victor does would be a great welcome to the neighborhood.
January 5, 2011 at 12:53
the question should be why wouldnt I want to go… anyone that loves music should attend this performance.
January 5, 2011 at 13:46
This is my birthday night and I don’t have any plans yet. Going to this concert to see Victor Wooten would totally rock my world! Plus, I have been dying to go to Mississippi Studios.
January 5, 2011 at 13:48
As a member of a rhythm section myself, I imagine that this would be an amazing learning experience… and what is better than education?

Wooten is fantastic. I’ve never seen him live and never been to Mississippi studios, so I would love to go.
January 6, 2011 at 14:01
Wooten is the man! I’ve missed both opportunities that I’ve received to see him play in the Flecktones; a chance to witness such a virtuoso player would be fantastic!
January 6, 2011 at 16:49
woot woot! i would love to pick my jaw up off the floor of mississippi studios!
January 6, 2011 at 17:24
Victor Wooten is amazing, its my birthday, and this would be an amazing event to attend with my friend that’s visiting all the way from PA!
January 6, 2011 at 17:27
I have heard great things about Victor and have a fascinaton with all thing bass. It would be a great experience!
January 6, 2011 at 17:33
Victor is amazing and it would be so great to support a good cause with beautiful music threading people together.
January 6, 2011 at 17:36
Who else could you imagine joining and improving any band? A couple seconds of him playing is funkier than a Red Hot Chili Pepper, smarter than most classical composers, and sweeter than any corny crooner. Therefore him playing solo is even better. He is basically a big fuzzy bear eating a pizza sitting on a tank riding into 1960s San Francisco to drop unicorn scat in the municipal water system.
January 6, 2011 at 17:47
oh my god. i would pee my pants if i won tickets to see victor wooten. even if it is the night of BCS championship game!
January 6, 2011 at 18:15
I would love to see Victor Wooten, and have no need to watch any silly football game.
January 6, 2011 at 18:55
I used to see Victor in Cincinnati for years. Always a great show. I have not seen him since I moved out here 10 yrs ago.
Thanks
January 6, 2011 at 19:11
Well, he can’t play bass. If I win tickets, I’ll prove me right.
January 6, 2011 at 19:20
I am absolutely in LOVE with and in awe of Master Wooten’s unhuman-like ability to manipulate the bass. I would be forever grateful for this memorable experience that I am just truly unable to shell out the dough for right now.
January 6, 2011 at 19:45
Holy hot damn. This guy is better than Claypool. Gotta see him before either of us die.
January 6, 2011 at 23:53
I love the way Wooten plays the Bass. Please pick me to attend the concert! It would be such a blast!
January 7, 2011 at 00:24

January 7, 2011 at 12:13
Woot woot! That’s my favorite saying, so obviously it’s meant to be. In all seriousness though, I’d be stoked to see such a talented artist whom I otherwise couldn’t afford this time around. Good luck to me!
January 7, 2011 at 19:06
it would be awesome to come to this!!!
January 7, 2011 at 22:29
Every time I’ve seen Victor play with the Flecktones he’s made me want to pick up a bass and start jamming. Unfortunately I have no musical talent, but at least I can appreciate his.
January 8, 2011 at 09:54
I would love to win tickets to this show. I haven’t seen him in concert, but feel like his songs have been bouncing around my life for awhile. WHat a treat!
January 9, 2011 at 15:22
He changed the way I think about bass playing. I have never seen him but have heard amazing things. I would love to get a chance to experience his playing. You can’t hold no groove if you aint got no pocket.
