I’d like to win tickets to the Valentine’s event @ the Bossanova Ballroom on 2/14/11. I don’t have the $ to be able to buy tickets to many (any) live shows so I’d love to win these tickets. It sounds like it will be fun.

  2. Blanca Villalobos January 19, 2011 at 18:40 #

Please please let me at these tickets. My boyfriend and I just moved to our 1st new apartment and were are so broke, so no having fun or going out for the first month. Would love to surprise him with this, and also love the fact that there would be vegan options for him!

I am so excited about this show. I am sharing this link with my twitter followers and writing about the show on my blog. I am currently doing a research project on the history of the circus (aerial acrobatics/clowns/animals). I will be presenting a speech during an International speech competition on the topic. After I complete the circus project, I am doing a one on burlesque. This show will be great research for both projects.

I wanna win tickets to this show and surprise my sweetie because I think it would awesome to see his face when he realizes it’s a burlesque show! Aw-yeah. Score major girlfriend points!

I just got dumped. But I just might meet a nice young lady there! Sounds like a great time.

  6. Christian January 19, 2011 at 18:54 #

I’d like to win tickets to the Valentine’s event @ the Bossanova Ballroom. I’ve never been to a Burlesque show and there’s always a first time to everything! More importantly, I am sure my girlfriend would enjoy it and this would be a fun Valentine getaway for us. This sounds like a fun time! Cheers!

  7. Soco January 19, 2011 at 19:13 #

  9. Renee Harper January 19, 2011 at 19:57 #

Oh, I LOVE Holly Dai and these fine burlesque ladies! Saving money so my man and I can hopefully get a car next month so shows are definitely not in our budget. We are huge fans of burlesque -and sweets for that matter- so this would be perfect! Plus, I’d love to show my fiance a great Valentines day for once. The last 3 haven’t been so good. Thanks for the opportunity guys!

  10. robert walker January 19, 2011 at 20:03 #

Rose’s are red, Violets are blue, please let me win the tickets, be’in given by you. I know that’s it’s lame to plagiarize this poem, and i shoulda done better , but hey ….I’m alone!

  11. Susie January 19, 2011 at 20:10 #

I need to learn how to kiss and tell but don’t tell THAT to my Valentine. I hope by the end of the night I will have learned the secret of this decadent kiss so that my Valentine will surely have a story to tell…

  12. Mindi January 19, 2011 at 20:31 #

This sounds like SOO much fun! I’d love to win tickets and take my fiance.

  15. Rob January 20, 2011 at 10:03 #

My wife nixed Valentines day shortly after we met. She deemed it corny and ridiculous to have command performance romance. I really think this would win her over to cilice team. Being a hopeless romantic myself I would just LOVE to go!

    • Rob January 20, 2011 at 10:06 #

      Cupids team. Damn auto spell!

  16. Lorelei January 20, 2011 at 10:54 #

  18. Alex January 21, 2011 at 08:46 #

  19. Sharon January 21, 2011 at 10:17 #

I think that a decent burlesque show with a gluten free desert might be just the way to celebrate my 80th!
Free tickets sure do help with my limited income budget.
This venue is also 2 blocks from home and I can walk that far!

  20. BearGriz72 January 21, 2011 at 12:23 #

Hello! Valentine’s Day Weekend! Enough Said!

    Well almost enough, PLEASE!!!

  21. Gary January 21, 2011 at 12:52 #

I’m out of work and broke; but would love to take my beautiful girlfriend to this. How about flinging a couple of free tickets my way!

  22. S January 21, 2011 at 13:15 #

My girl would flip out (in a good way) for a surprise Valentine’s burlesque show!

  23. Elizabeth January 21, 2011 at 13:18 #

I’m throwing in my hat for the free tickets! I’d like to treat my man to a fun night out.

  24. Julie January 21, 2011 at 13:27 #

Because Valentines typically sucks due to the fact that I am inevitably single. I want to bring one of my single girlfriends to this event and maybe we’ll meet some people and have FUN this year! We’re both redheads; not sure if that wins or loses us points… ; )

  25. Brendan Smith January 21, 2011 at 14:35 #

I have nothing to do on Valentine’s day so I would love to see this show!

  26. Hope January 21, 2011 at 14:36 #

A delicious dessert and show at the Bassanova Ballroom sounds like a wonderful way to spend time in our beautiful home city of Portland! We’ve never been to the ballroom and would enjoy this event! xoxo

My polyamorous boyfriend announced to me this week that he’s going to try monogamy. And not with me. Since I’m single again, I’d love to celebrate Vday with a friend, and try not to cry into my dessert.

  39. Josh January 21, 2011 at 16:04 #

I’ve been to one other burlesque show in Portland and wasn’t all that impressed. I’d love another shot at some tickets so that I know Portland’s got skills!

  40. Ben January 21, 2011 at 16:49 #

Burlesque at the Bossanova Ballroom? You know that’ll bring style and deviltry. I’ve got a mad red camel hair jacket and Kim has a slinky scarlet sheath deserve to be there.

  41. catherine January 21, 2011 at 17:23 #

what a sexy valentine’s day! i want to win and suprise my husband!

  42. Kacy Cullen January 21, 2011 at 17:30 #

  43. Kassie Halpin Robinson January 21, 2011 at 18:09 #

I seem to fall more in love with Portland all the time. What better way to celebrate than to spend the day with the kids I love and the evening somewhere that I’ve never seen in the city I love?

  44. Cassie A January 21, 2011 at 18:28 #

Oh my gosh I want to go to this! This would make it possible for my husband and I to have a date night for Valentine’s Day (which we haven’t gotten to go out and do since we had kids 4 years ago). We both love this kind of stuff and would have an amazing time. Please pick us :)

  45. Madeleine January 21, 2011 at 19:19 #

I need these tickets – it is part of my master plan: win tickets, invite a good looking guy to the event, stand him up, he walks away jaded, decides to watch bad porn and end his life…..everything happens for a reason…..

  46. B.Lynn January 21, 2011 at 21:58 #

hmm…working up the courage for a 3some with my man….wanton women and chocolate on Valentines day? …that might do the trick. Plus winning free tickets….saves me money for …. shall we say….mmm….surprises for my mates?

  47. Ronald T January 22, 2011 at 01:09 #

    AMORE ~
Can you feel it. The LOVE, it’s in the air and I know that
I need to feel more of it. LOVE is charity and I’d like to win your LOVE by gaining tickets to KISS & TELL BURLESQUE

Hi. i would really like to win these tickets for a special valentines day surprise for my boyfriend. We’ve been together for 8 years and he always surprises me with something fun so this would be perfect to return the favor. It looks like such a fun/yummy show!!!

  51. Rose Romanick January 22, 2011 at 12:29 #

Oh MAN! my husband and I really need a night off!!! Pick us!!!

This looks awesome, my girl loves retro style. Would love to go!

  53. Kelly G January 22, 2011 at 22:38 #

I would love to take my girl friend to a show, but with no money lately for much entertainment, this show would be great fun. She can act a bit like a prude sometimes, but I know she would secretly love the burlesque and it would get her off my back for not being able to take her out for Valentine’s Day.

  54. Cristine Kennedy January 24, 2011 at 07:37 #

I would love to win tickets to this show for my beloved hubby and I to have a date night! We have both been unemployed for so long, that free is the only price for us. Here’s hoping we can enjoy our Valentine’s Day with this show!

  55. chris January 24, 2011 at 09:01 #

This sounds great.. I would love to win tickets and surprise a special someone.

  56. SR January 24, 2011 at 14:48 #

I have always dreamed of finding an event that combined my love of baked goods with hardcore nudity…finally my wish is coming true.

  57. Charlotte Delgado January 26, 2011 at 18:06 #

KISS & TELL BURLESQUE! This is just the kind of event i’ve been looking for! I’m finally “single” again and looking to have some fun…and help Keep Portland Wierd”!

  58. Shannon January 27, 2011 at 16:18 #

My husband turns 40 the day after Valentine’s this year, and this would be such a fantastic way to celebrate.

  59. jolene williams January 27, 2011 at 21:32 #

Saw the Winter Show at the Bossanova with March Forth and lots of fab preformers. This one would be perfect for my new sweetie who has never been to a burlesque show…here’s to hopin’, it’s such a great venue.

  60. Jeff January 29, 2011 at 10:00 #

This sounds like a great event, and I am looking for something exciting to do with my girlfriend. We have been dating for 5 years, but this is the first valentine’s day we are going to get to spend together. We’re frequently on opposite sides of the country, but we finally made it work, and I want this valentines day to be something really fun. She also loves burlesque and is currently taking dance lessons for it.

  61. SJ January 29, 2011 at 17:13 #

I’m currently unattatched and un-employed and would love to have a fun night out!! I promise to not give up on romance! And will definately be looking forward to all those decadent desserts…. ;-)

    I’d love to go!

  64. Sean Dooley February 3, 2011 at 02:00 #

I’ve got nothing to do and no one to do it with for V Day. Perhaps a little classy burlesque and some delectable confections will turn the night around. Maybe I’ll meet a pretty paramour who shares like interests…

  65. Marc February 7, 2011 at 19:08 #

I really want a reason to yell out WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!!!

  66. Fran B February 8, 2011 at 00:29 #

My guy and I sooooo need a hot sizzling night like this to add some heat to our burning love. We will praise you forever.
